Please use the SAC function (edit button on memorial) to request transfers, and be sure to let me know specifically how you are related.|
I volunteer at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, and am working on photo-documenting the whole cemetery. At this point, I prefer not to transfer memorials for this cemetery (other than mandatory transfers, of course) because my research is ongoing. In the meantime, please feel free to send me as much additional info as you wish via the edit button on the memorial.
NOTE: Obituaries are a wonderful source of information, but findagrave has rules about how they may be used. You can always glean facts from them for the bio. If they are out of copyright, or if you hold the copyright, you can transcribe them. Regardless of who has the copyright, you are not supposed to post them as a photograph - regardless of whether you scanned it, took a screen shot, or downloaded it from another website. Please feel free to send me obit text via the edit function, and I will use the info to add to the bio. Obits posted as photos will be removed, and it just ends up wasting your time.

|Frank Freeman||Re: Charles Juhan|
I will ask my cousins about Charles' older brother, Alexander, and furnish his birth / death dates.
|JHFleck||RE: Theresa Brown|
Thank you. Theresa is my 3-gr. Aunt. Her younger brother Victor (b.1852) is my 2-gr. Grandfather. So I've been working on filling in the family tree and trying to find everyone & get them connected on Find A Grave.
(Kinda FUN! ... but also time-consuming) -Jeannie

|Sarah Sharpless||RE: Fannie Lowe|
Thanks! I looked and looked at the stone for Fannie Douglass Lowe & it's so hard to read. I think the initials of her mother (R. D.) have worn away.
|Wilma Gilstrap||RE: Kiehl photos|
My pleasure. Glad I could fulfill your request.
|Boston Bulldog||RE: Peter Mattox|
Ok will try that Linda. Tried finding you on ANC but couldn't. Will let you know. Thanks
|Irma Hale||RE: Frances Hall - nevermind|
Sorry for the confusion. Here are both memorials: 118290022 and 41179614. I recently found the article about her second marriage so I'll be uploading that soon.
|Boston Bulldog||RE: Peter Mattox|
Would like to know exactly where his tree connects to my family tree. Do you have a public tree I can view with Peter in it? Thanks
|Boston Bulldog||Peter Mattox|
I noticed sometime back your note in the memorial of Peter Mattox. It said he was your husbands 3rd GGF. Peter was my 2nd GGF. Could you or your husband contact me abt family info? Thanks PS THanks for the photos you posted also.
|Karen Kinnard||RE: Frances E Crenshaw Berry|
Thank you, I need to learn to read better.
|Karen Kinnard||Frances E Crenshaw Berry|
Find A Grave Memorial# 106875570 Born 1835 Died 1867, you have her parents are WT Crenshaw and SA Crenshaw. Many people on Ancestry have different parents. Would you direct me to that information you posted?
Also I am searching for a Lola M. Reagin b.about 1892, d. abt 1912 or 1913. She is my great grandmother who died shortly after giving birth to my grandmother Lenora. Lola was alone or with members of my family. She would have died, unwed, in the Altanta area of SW Humphries or Dull Street. Lola was from Lithonia, GA. Being alone and not going home to family, she may be buried as a poor in the larger cemeteries in Atlanta. A Crenshaw is my great grandfather but have no clue which one, but do know the family.
