Please feel free to use any of the photos I post on this site! God has blessed me with the ability to photograph these headstones, so this is my way of giving back. So many wonderful people have photographed and created memorials of my family members! Frequently, my grandchildren will appear in the headstone photos that I post. They go with me to each cemetery and love cleaning up and placing flowers. Teach them to enjoy while they are young!|
I'm a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 7. I have been researching my ancestry along with my sister Debbie. We have really enjoied hunting and searching for our past. Find A Grave has been an excellent source of information for us. I feel it is very important to contribute to this site and do it in a manner that is respective and accurate. I'll be glad to take volunteer photos. I'm located in Adamsville, Jefferson County, Alabama. I am willing to go to Walker County any time.
If I have made a mistake on any of the memorials that I have created or maintain, please feel free to send me edits. If you are a direct relative and would like a memorial transferred to you, please make your requests via the edit tab and I will gladly transfer unless they are also my direct relative.
Some of the Surnames that I am researching include: Cairns, Roberts, Ragland, Rouse, Campbell, Creel, Cruce, Palmer, Mueller, Sherwood, Bradley, Entrekin, Ford, Smith.

I have found another memorial for Beverly but in the wrong cemetery #149840913 There is more information in that one. Maybe you and Mary League (posted the other memorial) and have a nice one for Beverly

I've been here before, it isn't your mistake. It's info out there. So forgive me.
Your from Ala., I'm Okla.
On your find a grave Mem.86400755, you have Mattie Eleanor Roberts Thomas 1879-1963, John H Roberts 1892-1969, into my family.
She actually belongs to a Jim Roberts and Mahaleth Cobb Roberts, Mississippi and so does John H. The Men:36724469 for Jim is messed up too, Someone added the wrong headstone. Anyway can you remove them out of my part of the family? I corrected this Mattie for a young lady in N. Carolina, from Familysearch.org I gave her the info, poor girl took about 3 mos., for her to find and correct it. From my mother, also Mattie, Mattie came from Mathilda Lavena Roberts Woodruff. Born Alabama.(Hiram James Roberts)
Thank you for your efforts. John Moore Phx Az
|Barbara Stein||Mary Northrup Umholtz|
I noticed that you left flowers/note on Mary Northrup Umholtz site. She was a half sister ( Her Mother died young) to my GGrandfather. She also took care of him and his brother when their Mother died young. I was wondering how your husband was related to her. I look forward to hearing from you.
|Brenda Waid||James Roy Campbell & James Edward Campbell|
These 2 people listed here are related. James Roy Campbell is James Edward's dad. James Edward died at the age of 4 from a tragic auto accident. I am a first cousin of James Edward. James Roy was my mom's brother.

I just sent you a FB message! :)

Pam, Clyde (Bud) was my Mom's uncle. She would love to have his funeral card if you still have it.

I apologize if my changing the information is incorrect.
I read the obituary, and it looks like it says January 30, not January 20, especially when I compare the disputed 20 with a 2 o'clock a couple of lines down; but the picture is a bit fuzzy.
Is there a way to verify the picture again at the Eddyville Library? Perhaps take another one?

|Angela||Mt. Olivet Cemetery|
If you are from the Ottumwa area, would you be able to take a photo or two of Mt. Olivet Cemetery (The Sisters' cemetery at the former Ottumwa Heights College, currently Indian Hills Community College.)
Perhaps a photo of the sign, if any, a photo of a group of graves, or, if possible, a photo of a sign with a group of graves in the background.
I just think it's a shame that there's no photo of the cemetery on the Sisters' sites.
Thank you and God bless,
Angela (Member #48520699) Many of the sisters taught me. I'm in Pennsylvania.
