I follow FindaGrave's written guidelines regarding transfers (direct relatives within four generations). This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. A transfer request will be considered ONLY if your exact relationship to the deceased is provided to me. Otherwise, your email will be deleted.
I am ALWAYS glad to add family links, make needed corrections, and to add appropriate bio information (if no bio has been added).

Wm.Henry and Ona Prestridge are my grandparents. They had 4 children; Ellis Nathaniel Prestridge, Ellie Mae Prestridge, Lorene Prestridge Farrell (spelled with 2 R's. This is my Mother) and Lenora Vernice Prestridge Lanier. If possible could you make this corrections and addition.
This is a good site. I haven't seen their resting place in many years. Thank you.

Ron, Thanks for her obituary. It has been added to her memorial.
|Pat In Mississippi||Memorial# 16148426 KG Dampier|
I checked the documentation that you cited regarding KG's name and understand why you declined my request to get rid of the periods. KG could not read and write. His first wife Ola, my grandmother, taught him to write his name after they were married. His signature was not that good and very shaky looking. The signature on the WWI Draft card is not his signature. Looks as if whoever filled out the card for him also signed it for him. Maybe the X is his.
It would be the same for other records. He would not have known any difference to tell them. I don't know about the headstone. My dad would have taken care of the headstone and he is deceased so I cannot explain the periods. Anyway, thank you for transferring KG's memorial and Ola's to my wife. It was kind of you to do so. Bob Dampier
Thanks so much for the transfer, I deeply appreciate it.
