I am retired and living on the western shores of Lake Whitney in Texas. I have been interested in genealogy for many years but am not a professional; it is a hobby in my old age.|

I regret hearing your page was taken down, but I totally understand. I really appreciate you taking the time to keep me informed on W.J.'s current memorial, and to this I added the most recent picture I have taken of the headstone. I also added the page's link to the parent section on my uncle Nick Osborne 's page #155140326. Thank you very much for the information.

Thank you very much for transferring Goldie to me. I have already begun updating her memorial. Thank you again. And thanks for you speedy responce.
If you will look at the tombstone for Marry you will see that it is spelled Marry. That was my reason for putting it as Marry and leaving it as Marry. I know it is an odd spelling.

John's memorial has his birth year as 1894 and the first of three children born in 1903; this would put John at nine years old.
this doesn't seem to be correct.

Louis: Kelly keeps wondering what he is doing so far north - especially at this time of year. If he'd only inherited some Smith Bend land! ;)

Your so prompt attention to my edit requests for several of the Smith family are much appreciated. It means I can print off updated f/g sheets for reference while I am still in the midst of updating.
Hope the sun is shining down your way - it still feels like winter here even with a bit of blue sky.

I've sent in this correction via the 'edit' button, but wanted to explain the request. There was an error in assigning parents to Franz. He was a son of Seldon Smith and Emma Harris, whose linkage I have provided. The original linkage was to a brother. The photo of the memorial marker shows quite clearly 'son of Seldon and Emma'.
Thanks for all your ongoing efforts. Somehow I've found myself in the midst of John Jackson Smith family connections again! (My own family history is still calling.)

I am sorry I was looking at Joseph's page (his father) and saw James there with only the step mother added to Joseph's memorial so far. I apologize you have it perfectly right
Thank you for contacting me
And for the work you do on Find A Grave

I submitted an edit for his correct mother. His father was married twice and the mother that is attached to him now is his step mother Find A Grave # 29801405 .
The correct mother is Mary Ellen Polk ARNOLD Find A Grave# 58893733
There are census records and a family history page to document
The step mother had 4 daughters with his father : Arena, Parthena Fannie & Minnie
Thank you for your work on Find A Grave too
No damages thank goodness, I was in church at the time. I had a piece of siding pop loose. But my son in law and a friend of his were out assessing the damages. They are on the West Shore Vol. Fire Dept. My son in law is the president. They came by to see if I was ok. They popped it back on and turned my T.V. antenna back to where I had channels again. Thanks:)
