|Work on findagrave in my spare time as I have a full time job and a family.|
I must add that markers and headstones can be wrong as well as death certificates, have seen this in my own family. So just because a marker has a certain date or spelling does not mean it is always correct; often markers or headstones are added at a later date and wrong dates or spellings are added. The info is only as correct as the person giving the info.
A good bit of my info came from my sister's father-in-law ALBERT J. DAVIS, whom (before his death) gave me PERMISSION to use his info in the ways I wished. I know Albert would have approved of his info. on findagrave. Albert spent several decades and many hours working on death records before his death. After Albert's death many of his books were donated to the library, many thanks to Albert!
I was collecting records long before this site was made, but much of my info was lost in my move to Daviess County. Yes, as a teen I was spending hours in cemeteries copying names, a strong interest of mine.
Please use the edit button for corrections and post requests for transfers on the bottom of this page under messages; i'm having some problems with my mail. Thanks.

Eli Willis Crowe is my husband's great great grandfather so that makes them 4th cousins if I'm reading the cousin chart correctly. Awesome!

I finished Mater Dolorosa yesterday, seems like it took me two years. I am getting old, can not go as fast as I use to. I think it went from 63 % photographed to 84%, I only filled 5 photo request. There was 7066 memorials online when I started and 7377 when I stopped. Of Course I did not add all of them, some were recent. One down and on to another. We did the Flea Market this morning, up at 3:45, so it has been a long day. Ending up with great grands in the floor playing Barbie's. Hope you are having a Good 4th.

Someone had entered several of the people at Bells Run in wrong cemetery aka Bells Run vs Old Bells Run. That person too busy to update listings. So did not want to loose the correct locations. Will approach the person again to see if he will correct his listings then glad to delete newer ones. Will then put pictures on old listings as well. Hope to physically work on Bells Run to reset the leaning markers next year, we did that for Mt Carmel this year. Beautiful day.

Mary informed the Census Taker in 1900 that both her parents were born in Maryland.
In Addition, Her Husband Eleazer Y. Crowe said that his Father was born in KY and his Mother was born in NC.
