I like visiting cemeteries and taking photos - they may not always be the BEST photos, but I try for legible. |
I really don't have time to do links, if you are related at all, please just ask for a transfer - I really do want all the memorials I've created to be with family.
I have a lot of photos that I just haven't gotten uploaded yet - but if I created a memorial, then I have a photo for it.
I'm not related to any of the Maine memorials I've created and I'm just a caretaker, I'll transfer to any family members. I don't know anything beyond what is on the stones.
I give permission for the use of my photographs for any reason, but would like credit. "Photo courtesy of Brenda Ball" will suffice. I do have larger copies of all photos, if that's helpful.
If I fulfill a photo request for you, or transfer a memorial out of guidelines, I expect a 'thank you'. Hopefully, in 'real life' when someone does something nice for you, you take the time to thank them. Online life is the same way, if you don't bother, then *I* won't bother.

|ASGS||Corydon Nelson #99473366|
Just submitted two edits backed by more or less Maine Vital Records, his Civil War enlistment, Maine Veteran's Cemetery Records.... His date of birth is 1834, not 1884. The number on the grave marker is a hair unclear. His wife was Angeline (or Angelina depending on spelling) and her memorial is #99473366. To my husband he is great uncle - our direct line is through his sister Lydia Ann Nelson. I will also submit edits to connect him to his parents. Thanks so much for your very conscientious work in documenting these cemeteries down to Maine.

The Frank A. Hill memorial #113037769 had been transferred to me. I now see that it has been transferred to you. I did not do anything to change it. It may be a glitch in there system with them making changes to their system. I would greatly appreciate it if you could transfer it back to me. My member number is 47347834. Thanks so much.

Hi Brenda. May Insuggest a clarification on your listing for Henry Landry Pollard? His last name was Landry. My research indicates that Edna Pollard was his landlady. He was divorced and may not have had any family to handle arrangements at the time of his death.

Hi Brenda, Would you please transfer Minnie to me? Minnie is Memorial #108338218 and I am #46919472. I just found Minnie yesterday - she is the illegitimate daughter of my great-great-grandfather, John O'Sullivan. The S in Minnie's name is for Sullivan. I would love to be able to work on this line without asking for edits. Thank you!!!

Would you please transfer my relative, Clara A. Smith #99758422 and her husband, Sherwood H. Smith #99758401 to my member number which is 49277540. Clara's maiden name was Timberlake. I will be happy to make all the appropriate family links in Find-a-Grave. Thanks so much.
|David Pridham||Clara E Boomer|
I went to Oak Hill cemtery in Auburn to fill a photo request for a Clara E Boomer.
After I found the stone I discovered that she was buried next to a George (no last name on stone) 1894-1973.
I did some research in Ancestry and found that Clara E (1895-1975) is the wife of George Paiton.
Her maiden name is Peverly.
It happens that the Boomers and the Paitons are next to each other.
I think that Clara got mixed up as a Boomer and should have been Paiton.
If you could check into this it would be appreciated.
