RE: Memorial# 17096173
I'm sorry, Janice, but I can't add sibling connections to the memorials. They occur automatically when the memorials for two (or more) people show the same parental links. For instance, my father and my uncles all have the same parental links on their memorials. The sibling links appeared automatically. I didn't need to add them.

Find A Grave Memorial# 118764379
Mary Tiffany Bleeks was raised by Lewis Tiffany and Olive Oviatt Tiffany, but they weren't her parents. They were her uncle and aunt. Mary was the daughter of Recompense Tiffany Jr. and Julia Oviatt, who married in Allen Co., Indiana, on 20 Oct 1841. Mary was on the 1850 census with her parents in Ohio:

1850 > OHIO > SUMMIT > TWINSBURG TWP Series: M432 Roll: 732 Page: 381
Recompense Tiffany 33 450 Ohio [sic]
Julia 30/31 Ohio
Mary 2 Ohio [sic]
Rosa 1 mo Ohio [sic, Rhoda]

Julia Oviatt Tiffany was declared insane in 1853 and her daughters were sent to relatives to be raised. Mary Tiffany went to Lewis and Olive Oviatt Tiffany in De Kalb Co., Indiana. Anna Rhoda Collins Tiffany went to her uncle and aunt, George Tiffany and Laura Dunbar.

I am aware the the 1930 obituary for George W. Bleeks said Mary was the daughter of Lewis and Olive, but that obituary was undoubtedly written by someone who had no knowledge beyond the fact that Mary was a Tiffany and raised by Lewis and Olive Tiffany.

Ephraim McCaleb
Hi Janice, I think I may have talked to you before. You probably have talked with my cousin Vickie Webb about the McCaleb/McCalip line that went to Mississippi. Vicki seems to think that Ephraim was the grandfather of our Daniel McCaleb (ip) that lived in Mississippi and came there about 1800. He was born about 1775. Do you know of any connection between Daniel and Ephraim. She doesn't know Daniel's father but says his grandfather is Ephraim. You can email me at
