I am doing research on my own family with the last name Van Dyck, Livings and Bodjack. I love photography so I am always looking for a new way to take pictures.|

|Tammy Knowles||RE: Crystal Springs Cemetery Photo Requests|
Thank you again Mariam. (Sorry I misspelled your name earlier). Unfortunately, that is the way it is at most cemeteries. Very rarely do you find a caretaker, much less one that truly cares. When I was looking for my husband's ggrandfather's unmarked grave, I called the church office who informed me that the last person who knew who was buried in the unmarked graves had died 10 years earlier and nobody thought to have them write down their knowledge while they were living. Go figure. You would think with the modern technology used in today's churches, every church cemetery would be documented and posted by every church that has one. But sadly, that is not the case. Not all of my Michigan relatives are buried in that same cemetery, but if you make a list of the 41 photo requests and stumble across any of mine in the process of looking for those, I would appreciate it greatly. Happy hunting! Bless you, Tammy
|Tammy Knowles||Crystal Springs Cemetery Photo Requests|
Hi again Miriam, since you are new to FindAGrave, if you go to the webpage for Crystal Springs Cemetery, you will see that there are about 41 other photo requests that are waiting to be filled as well. The oldest was requested all the way back in January of 2009. I'm sure you would make a lot of friends if you were to fill their photo requests as well. I know that time doesn't always permit lengthy searches at a graveyard, so I really appreciate what you have done for me. Whenever I visit a cemetery, I try to take as many photos as I can and post them, even if they are already listed as a memorial, new photos of graves are always appreciated. Much of the time, I find I have photographed graves that have not yet been documented on FindAGrave. Some contributors take on certain cemeteries as projects or even all of the cemeteries in whole counties. How ever you contribute, there will always be someone out there who will appreciate what you do. May you be blessed! Tammy
|Tammy Knowles||RE: Sgt John Rizzo Jr|
Thank you so much, Miriam. I would very much appreciate you transferring John Sr and Rosalia's memorials to me, they are my g-grandparents on my mother's side. I am probably related to all of the Rizzo's buried in that vacinity. Also, any Swisher's or Retz's you find as well. My Uncle just sent my mom some photos of some of the family headstones in the area, but I have not been able to load them up to FindAGrave yet. Thanks again for the volunteer work you are doing. This is what makes FindAGrave such a wonderful tool for Genealogy research. Blessings to you! Tammy.
