I have been doing family history for over 45 years and I do understand that elation when one finds information about their family. For over 8 years now I have tried to do my share in documenting grave sites in any cemetery that I am near. I hope that my efforts have helped some to actually see the grave site of a family member that they never knew the location of or could never hope to visit. I spend many hours doing the photography and even cleaning up the weed choked sites. Also I go the extra mile and try to find more documentation and information about the person.
It is not my intent to construct an instant family tree for anyone to claim; but, please, do not minimize or negate the time and efforts I put forth. I am always cooperative in making corrections or adding information to a site but prefer not to make transfers except under certain circumstances as it is my experience the requester does nothing to enhance the site but merely wants to collect.
Please be patient if I do not make an edit immediately. It will happen but I am not at the computer 24-7.

RE: Ballweg, Joseph C
Yes. I was born in Madison, WI. The Ballwegs are my late niece's children. She was married to Michael 'Mickey" Ballweg. Her maiden name was Sheri Lynn Gasdorf.
Thank you for checking records for these Ballwegs. They are a huge family.
I don't have enough time to do much genealogy anymore. I did the Ballwegs to give the Ballweg children some roots, i.e., a family history.

RE: Anna Baltes email bounced
I tried to resend my email without the attachment & it still was refused. Oh well.
Thanks for cleaning up the duplicate. The other thing I wanted to share was a copy of George Baltes' will, which names his children (including 1 by a first wife which I did not know about), if that is a family you are working on. But even now I'm not sure if that document confused Anna M with Anna, based on the spouses assigned to each daughter. Anyway, I uploaded it as photos here https://familysearch.org/tree/person/L28B-694/memories and put a summary in the Stories section.

Anna Baltes email bounced
Kay,
I just sent you a very lengthy email about duplicate memorials & some sources I'd been working on. Basicaly anna m baltes fasbender 74893704
fassbender 99355909. And got a message saying "Your mail could not be delivered because the recipient is only accepting mail from specific email addresses. If you feel you received this in error, please contact the recipient directly and ask them to check their email settings."
If you have a better email address(or want to tell me not to attach pdf), I think you still have my email.

RE: Ruby
No. Mima's son James Ruby, 1860 Census, b. 1846, married Kate J. Cox, born IA, 1858-59 . Neither are on Find A Grave. Cox family migrated to Territory of NE in 1860 (Seward county)

I'm working on the Cox family. Thought I'd link whatever I could find on the Ruby family.

I do know that James and Kate Ruby lived in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN, are in the 1920, 1930 (ages 85, 70) census.

If you're interested in searching on Seward County newspapers, which is where I found their names, go to sewardlibrary.org. Under Read are the Digital Archives of Seward County Newspapers dating back to 1870.

Hi, Kay; yes there is a marriage record.

Michigan Marriage Records, 1902 Calhoun-Kalkaska.

26 Apr 1902, Iron Mountain.

Groom: Fred J Rodee (35), res. Milwaukee; b. New York; father Albert Rodee; mother Kate Bullis.

Bride: Nora Ceilia Murphy (27), res. Iron Mountain; b. Wisconsin; father James Murphy; mother Eliza Shea.

James Murphy was one of the witnesses.

There is also a 4 Oct 1958 obituary in the Arizona Republic (Phoenix) that says she was 85 at time of death in October 1958.

On her 1930 US census, she gave the age at first marriage of 20.

All the best and thanks!

Find A Grave Memorial# 82676123

Hi, Kay; thanks very much! Yes, I saw Nona Rodee's Arizona Death Certificate; and if we go by that, there is still a correction needed for the birth year which was given 1873 on the record rather than 1879 as shown on the memorial.

I have her obituary from the Sheboygan newspaper, which shows her a native of Mitchell, Sheboygan, Wisconsin and her parents as "James and Elizabeth Shea Murray Murphy." That's not confusing at all is it, haha. The census records from 1870 for her parents show Murphy and 1880 for her with her mother show Murphy. On the James Jr marriage record, they are all shown as Murphy.

Also the obituary shows she was 85 when she died which would agree with the 1873 on the birth record. I can send you the obituary image in email if you like. All the best!
