We work as a team. |
We watch for family names: Sweeney, Douglass, Nix, Bevans, Hawkins, Humphrey, Mills, Benedict.
All are welcome to use our photos of tombstones. It is nice, however, to hear from you when you use our work. It makes us feel good to help others trace their family's paths.

I was very surprised and happy to see that you have transferred the baby and Martin to me. You are SO kind and thoughtful, words cannot express.

Thank you for all your hard work with this cemetery.

Thank you for transferring Carol Jean (Schmidt) Billington's memorial to me. Her maternal grandmother, Ida Belle DeArmoun was the daughter of Samuel Kennedy DeArmoun, nephew of my 4x great-grandfather.

Thank you for the transfer!

Just a quick note of appreciation... I was in this cemetery for the interment of the spouse of a 1C1R so I brought along my camera (like I imagine you do quite frequently) and took photos of all the military markers I could see... PLUS any of the "cool" old style markers. When I saw you had created Find A Grave memorials for them already, I just jumped into Ancestry.com & some other sites to see if I could find some life details to add.
You really didn't need to transfer them over to me; I have no "family claim"... but I am honored by your trust in me to "do right" by these folks. I'll continued digging and see if I can't find any more information to add... to better tell their life story.

Kay and Duane-thank you for transferring William to my care-his life ended quite sadly. I have requested that his two children be linked to him. Mary Ann (Terry) Pollan-63661359 and George William Terry-142061743.
I like to link all family members, if possible.
|Shelby Jones||About Orville Cummings|
I see you have added Orville Cummings to Find a Grave. Do you know if you are related to him because his sister is my great grandmother. So I was curious if you had anything to do with this person.
After getting pictures yesterday in our local cemetery, I looked back through some of my records of other additions and projects there through the years, and found mention that you had transferred this one to me.
The City upgraded their Website fairly recently, so out of curiosity I searched and found her, showing as being buried just a week after I had checked the printed records. It's odd that the newspaper had stated that she WAS buried here, not that she would be...
Anyway, I'll be glad to transfer her back to you if you want. I'll get a picture next time I have a list of pics to get. Her mother is listed under her second married name, which could possibly lead to a duplicate someday.

Mrs. McClain, I wondered if you were close enough to the cemetery, if you could get the burial date for her.
There was a Catherine McClain who was mother to Fanny McClain Wilcox, and it seems Fanny may have died in Oregon too, but as of this time, there is no memorial for Fanny.
