|Eleanor Morrison Lawson||John A Barnwell|
According to census records:
1880 Edneyville, Henderson Co NC
John A Barnwell, Emeline E, wife, Pinkney son 6
1900 Edneyville: John, Emeline, Pinkney son 26
in 1910 John and Emeline living alone
Death of Pinkney" living Fletcher, NC
wife, Rebecca (Freeman) Barnwell
parents: John and Emeline Townsend Barrnwell
all supposedly buried at Liberty Baptist Church.
Evidenly Emeline either only had a stone to mark her grave or marker got damaged. I am 89 and in ill health so I cannot travel to view cemetery
I believe her grave should be in that cemetery
Hope this info will help,
Eleanor Morrison Lawson (emlaw22att.net)
PS I would like to thank you personally for all you do for Find A Grave.

I like how you set them up. I am going to copy!

Thank you for noting the discrepancy. I'm an Edney descendant still here in Henderson County, N.C., and just trying to link as many descendants of the two Edney brothers as possible.
Thank you for transferring James Wilkerson Lanning & Leah King Lanning
Hi, I am looking for my Great Grandpaw's grave.
His name is Fred Moore Born:30 JUN 1886 • Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina Death:5 OCT 1968 • Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina
He is buried at Mountain View Memorial Park Black Mountain, North Carolina according to his Death Certificate.
Is there anyway you would be able to get a picture of his grave?

|Jeff Lovelace||Dear Molly|
God bless you Carroll for letting me know about Molly. She hadn't e-mailed me in quite a few months now, but now I know why she couldn't. This has saddened me greatly, but she suffered with so many bouts of cancer in multiple parts of her body; it was just heartbreaking. She fought the fight for so many years. I will never forget her tenderness she shared with all that knew her.
Thanks again and as I said to her many times, much love and many blessings to you.

Thanks for checking.
|Lisa Craig Arrowood||Owenbey family|
I saw that you have done research on the Owenbey, Ownby etc. family. Have you come across a Geneva Owenbey. She is buried at the Whitaker Family Cemetery in Henderson County. Memorial #71073482
The only other "Owenby" buried there is Laodicia "Dicy" Owenby Whitaker daughter of Madison Ownbey. Madison Ownbey had 25 children. Do you know if he had a daughter named Geneva?
|Jeff Lovelace||Lila June Elkins|
Thank you for the tip on Deborah Sue Owenby. That temporary marker was in very poor condition. I now have her linked to her late father Joseph Compton Owenby, but have no information on her mother Lila June, whom I imagine is still living. Are you any relation to these infants or to the parents? Did you know Lila's father Creed?
Please see this memorial: 161804973.
