|I have been researching my Tipton ancestors for about five years. Although there are many Tiptons in Tennessee, where I currently live, none of them appear to be related within the last six generation or so. So I am dependent on others for most of the photos and other data about my relatives. I recently joined Find A Grave to try to pay back the favor.|
When I visit a cemetery in response to a photo request, I usually try to take photos of other headstones in the area. If there is not already a Find A Grave memorial for the person, I will create one based on the information found on the headstone. Since these are generally not related to me, I am willing to transfer the memorial to other members, even if they do not meet the relationship guidelines listed in the Find A Grave FAQs. Just ask. (If the memorial is for someone actually related to me, I will still consider the transfer but will be less inclined to deviate from the FAQ guidelines.)
Although photos published in Find A Grave are considered to be copyrighted by the photographer, feel free to copy my photos to other sites as long as the appropriate credit is given. Since the Find A Grave photos are generally published at reduced resolution, if you want a high-resolution copy, drop me an e-mail and I will send you a copy of the original file. Please include the name and Find A Grave memorial number for the photos that you want.
I try to respond to photo requests within Cumberland County (Crossville), Tennessee, and the immediately surrounding counties. However, if the request is for somebody in a private cemetery, I would appreciate it if the requesting party would make the initial contact for permission to access the property. I will try to help with getting contact information if necessary.

You're welcome, good luck with the correction.
|Richard Stephen||RE: Wallace James Hadley|
You're welcome and good luck.
I was going to the library to do some look-ups, thought I would check for new requests before I left, found Wallace in the Riverview book, I knew the section he was in, stopped at the cemetery on the way home from the library and got the photo.
Sure wish it worked like that all the time.
|Lorella Wood||Minnie Myers|
Thank you for posting photos of Minnie Myers and her family. She was my half sister.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I changed the dob to Dec. 9, 1930 but like you, I wish we had a birth certificate to verify his birth.
