Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Chicago, Illinois and am working on records for my father's and mother's families primarily.
I enjoy taking photographs of grave sites for photo requests. My priorities are sites with a location provided then by request date. Many places have requests that are several years old. You are welcome to use any of the photos I post as you wish. Requests for photo files or transfers are welcome. Email or use the edit tab on a memorial.

Please provide a location in the cemetery for your photo request. Contacting the cemetery is usually successful at obtaining a location. Info about the presence of a grave marker may also be available and is helpful. Locating unmarked graves can be very difficult.

If you want a photo of mine removed from your memorial, or have higher quality photos than the ones I posted, please feel free to post them, then let me know, and I will remove mine.

Thank you for going the extra mile looking up the cremation infomation. Their only daughter died in 1918 so very few avenues to search.

Dear R Lerch, well I can't thank you enough for taking the extra time to find out where my Uncle Albert was. I did not know he was cremated so thank you so much for your extra effort. The family most definitely appreciates this. He was one of 7 brothers and 1 sister and the only one whose final resting place was not "etched in stone". Thank you so very much for tying up this loose end for us. Blessings to you and yours.

Dear R. Lerch, please excuse my thoughtlessness if I did not thank you more promptly for your great photo of Annie's Memorial. What saved my goose was that I saved the eMail from Find A Grave letting me know you had taken a photo.

Thanks again and you have my apologies and best wishes.

Thank you for your consideration. I had found the information that she had been taken there but there wasn't anything about her being cremated and her ashes being turned over to Uncle John. He lived so long passed her and was the last of his generation to pass and he and Clara had no children. My great Aunt, Dr. Florence Fezer, I am sure, took care of his burial. So I have no idea now what happened to Clara's ashes. I think I am going to have to figure out how to set up a virtual cemetery as I have other family members who were cremated that I have no idea where their ashes are. Thank you again.
