Please do not add names to Oakwood Cemetery in Farmington, Michigan. As the data manager for Oakwood, I was asked to monitor Oakwood for the library, genealogical society and the city. I have spent four years, and several thousand hours, researching the people buried there and the cemetery has been completely photographed.
There are at least a dozen people who are listed on grave monuments in Oakwood who are not actually buried there. Their memorials have been removed. We are adding recent burials as they occur, so that we can keep our master list current.
I had the honor to be the project manager for the complete restoration of Farmington's Quaker Cemetery in the summer of 2017.
Quaker Cemetery in Farmington, and East Farmington Cemetery in Farmington Hills, Michigan are also 100% documented and photographed. They are INACTIVE pioneer cemeteries.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Also, PLEASE DO NOT COPY MY PHOTOGRAPHS and use them on other websites, especially www.ancestry.com. I spend a lot of time locating the graves, and uncovering and cleaning the gravestones before photographing them.
