Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it.
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

Please be kind to Photo Volunteers! We are out there in all kinds of weather in a variety of conditions to find your friend's/relative's graves. We are not after a Pulitzer Prize and sometimes even our best effort may produce a not-so-good photo. If any of my photos are not to your liking, please leave me a message and I will try to get a better one. I will not be offended.

I will no longer makes Edits (other than links and dates) for people who do not have their messages turned on. If I have questions, and have no way to contact you, I will not make the Edits. I do not use e-mail; please don't ask.

NOTE: All photos that I have posted on Find a Grave ARE photos that I have taken myself, or, in the case of a few portrait photos, I received permission to use them and it is so stated in the photo's caption. Photos that I've posted of cemetery gates, signs, statues, buildings, points of interest, mausoleums, etc. that have been added to a cemetery's profile page were ALL taken by me and were submitted to the Admins of this site for posting if they chose to do so. Family photos are all photos that are in my possession, taken by me or immediate family members who are no longer living.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of approximately 25,000 memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for taking the time to capture this for our family. My mom currently has cancer and we are working on her family tree during her recovery time. This is just one part of tracing her maternal lineage. Thank you for making a difference.

photos from Inglewood Park Cemetery
Thank you so much for taking photos of the three graves, Florence Graham, John Dolph and Florence Dolph in Inglewood Park Cemetery. I had done the paperwork for the Civil War Monument August 2016. It took a lot of work with the cemetery to get it placed. I am so very grateful that it is there. It looks good, the photos are lovely. Thanks so much for the distance shots as well.

RE: George Somes
Thank you for offering to add a photo. I have decided since it is complicated (in that I do not manage the listings for George's bio parents nor will the owner transfer to me), to therefore add the relationship between his parents and adoptive parents in the bio for his half-sister Gertrude Whipple Downing 155126346. I will send you a fuller explanation in an edit for George. Thanks again. Cheers, Beverly

Just want u to know I totally appreciate your efforts!! I assume she is where the flower is it? Was her husband Andrew there? Or did he have a marker?
She had been near impossible to get info on!! If u can give me hints on getting a death record I would appreciate, or if u have access to court house, I would send u check for her death certificate. I think it is close to $50.00 on line with fees ect so, I'll be willing to send check for someone to pick up for me.
Thanks for considering. -- sue
