Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love the peace and quiet of cemeteries. (There are no telemarketers calling.) I also love taking pictures. The exercise is at my own pace. The stones are interesting, and they absolutely need to be documented before they are lost to the ravages of time.

I am happy to make transfers, of anyone whose not related to me.

I'm 10 generations forward from my Mayflower ancestor George Soule. I'm 13 generations from my New Haven founder Capt. Nathaniel Turner. 13 Generations is 1024 direct ancestors (doesn't count siblings etc.) My husband also has 1024 direct ancestors going back to the Mayflower. That's 2048 direct ancestors. I haven't found them all in the 40+ years I've been researching. But I'm still looking. Thanks to all of you members at Find a Grave, who are making finding their burial places easier.

PLEASE use the EDIT tab for suggestions, corrections and transfers. I'm happy to make changes, but I'm going to ask you for a source, if it's not directly on the stone. (Using the new edit system you can send source information through the "Suggest any other correction or addition" line.) The internet is a wonderful thing for genealogists but it's also very good at spreading misinformation, and I am trying very hard not to spread undocumented genealogy. That's one of the reasons I love Find a Grave, because I can look directly at a gravestone and see exactly what it says and don't have to depend on second and third hand information. Happy hunting.

PHOTOS OF GRAVESTONES. Please feel free to use mine, that's why I took them. I do like to get credit, though. "ASB"

PHOTOS OF PEOPLE. I've posted them to be enjoyed by visitors to Find a Grave. I was a little taken aback to see my mother's photo on Ancestry. So you're welcome to use them, for your personal use, but I would appreciate it, if you would avoid posting them to other internet sites.

Hannah Cady Washburn Headstone Photo
The headstone photo you uploaded to Find A Grave Memorial# 78812444 (Hannah Cady Washburn) is now a broken image (although the thumbnail still shows). If you still have the photo, can you re-upload it? Thank you.

RE: Clara Graham Bishop 81070269
Stafford Clevelands History of Yates County states that John Graham married Sarah Anderson, daughter of Hixon Anderson and his second wife, Eleanor Carter. He says John and Sarah had two children, Caroline and Nellie. In the 1855 NY State census John and Sarah are listed along with a daughter, Clara.age 4 born in Monroe county. In 1860, John and Sarah have two daughters, Clara and Eleanor, and they reside next door to Sarah’s parents. In the 1865 NY State census, John and Sarah have two children, Clara E,(age 13) and Nellie L. (age 9). In 1875 NY State census, john and Sarah have two daughters, Clara E (age 23), and Nellie L (age 19), also living with them are Sarah’s parents.

I am assuming the daughter Staffofrd Cleveland called Caroline is actually Clara.

In Clara’s obituary she is described as being born in Rochester, and leaves one sister Mrs
Nellie Rose.

Thank you for turning over Frank's memorial page to me. I was glad to get his life story in print. I am still waiting to get permission to do his son who was married to my Grandfather's sister. It is wonderful to see everyone's history being linked to their family members. Find A Grave is a wonderful source for those interested in their family history. Thank you for volunteering.
