Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience. |
At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.
If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

You're very welcome. Glad I could help.

I totally agree as far as maybe an unmarked grave. We also checked the website that has the burials listed for this cemetery (http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txcomal/nbcem/nbcem.html) and they have listings even those without headstones (as best as they can). The DC says New Braunfels but that could mean any cemetery in the town of New Braunfels.

I have declined the edit for the last name to include Harper at this time, if the photo shows the name differently I will make the change at that time.

Opps......yes they do have a 54, in-back of the funeral home. My map doesn't show that name, but will go over there soon.
|J.J. Metzler&M Sutton||Pickens/Woodlawn??|
You have a request for sec 54 lot 265.
Woodlawn doesn't have a sec 54......could it be Forest Park/ Lawndale/Houston?
|Del Barkley||RE: All Saints Ukrainian Cemetery|
I still have a 92 year old aunt around that I am asking questions to before we lose that avenue but she knows nothing about computers.
I did try and call All saints Ukr. Cemetery yesterday since they are in the city and the cemetery is outside the city. Anyway, nobody answered. Will try again today. I am trying to get maps for the cemetery. I will check with the Manitoba Geneological society also because they have lots of stuff that is not digitized yet.
Do you have a more private avenue, to provide me your aunts address in Austin?
