I enjoy gardening and I am a member of the Mt. Pleasant Iris and Daylily Society of East Texas.
I love photography and use it for both fun and entertainment. Since digital cameras came into use I go crazy with an assortment of subjects. I take tons of photos of my flowers, but I also enjoy photographing birds, horses, almost any form of wildlife, people, but most of all Cemeteries and Tombstones.

I am an Amateur Genealogist with 30 some odd years of research behind me. I took a break of about 5 years and just recently started back up. When I started researching my family lines my mother would get so upset with me. I spent all my free time walking cemeteries, visiting dirty dingy courthouse basements, are just visiting people that I didn't even know to gather old family photos and oral information. Mom always told me I spent more time with dead relatives than I did the live ones.

The day I walked into moms house with not only her mother and father's original marriage license but her grandparents original marriage license is the day that she decided my family research was worth all the hard hours I had put into it. She never complained again and started sharing older stories and folklore with me.

I am a Caregiver by profession and own my own business, Compassion and Grace Services.
I am a Baptist by faith and proclaim Jesus Christ as my savior. He can be yours too!
Hopefully one day my son and daughter will carry on not only my genealogy research for others to enjoy, but my love for the Lord!

The following is a list of cemeteries that I have photographed entirely. The list is in the East Texas area.

Caney Cemetery, Hopkins County.
Hays Cemetery, Winnsboro,Wood County.
Pineview Cemetery, Pineview, Wood County, Texas.
Winnsboro City Cemetery, Wood County.
Currently working on Lee Cemetery Hwy, 37 Wood Co

I have taken some at:
Smyrna, Wood County, Texas.
Harmony, Hopkins County.
Perryville, Wood County.

Thanks for the offer to look for Martha Jackson Milner in Lee Cemetery. Much appreciated.

In regard to your photos of flowers, birds, etc. I have a friend who attaches her photos on note cards and gives them to friends in batches of 6 to a package. And sometimes she sells them at craft fairs, but mainly gives to friends as a give of love and appreciation.

I noticed that you are in the process of making photos of tombstones in Lee Cemetery.
I am looking for Martha Jackson Milner, wife #2 of Lovic Pearce Milner. Her inscription might be on the back or side of his tombstone, a tall stand up type with "Come Ye Blessed" and open gates of Heaven across the top.
Lovic Pearce Milner is the brother of my grandfather, Ocie Kyle Milner Sr.
Much appreciate your help.
Thank you.

RE: Hester Transfer
Somehow the transfer of Mary Hester's memorial did not come through.
Could you try it again?

RE: Edith Louvine Trousdale
Hi Marian. Yes as luck would have it, I found Billie Isbell Rouse as well and posted her headstone photo to her memorial a couple of weeks ago.

And you're right, it is a very large cemetery.

Happy to help,

I have found probate records in Wood County for Mary Hester's mother, whom I believed to be Malinda McBride Hester.
The probate records in Wood County appoint James M. McBride (her brother) as executor of her will, which confirms my belief that she was indeed Malinda McBride.
I am wondering if you would be agreeable to transfer the management of the above memorial to me so that I may add some information.
Thank you,
Connie McBride Davis
