Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Julian Tansell and I live in Worcester, England. I have been researching my family tree since 2000 with all the different spellings of it. Whether it's Tansell, Tansill, Tancell, Tancill, Tanzell, Tanzill etc. Headstones/monuments provide a lot of information for anyone researching their family tree. I have now started photographing not only headstones in my family tree, but any others that I can and I do some research on them before adding the memorial to make sure the information is correct as it can be. If you would like a photograph taken of a grave in Worcestershire and the surrounding area then please do feel free to contact me with as much information that you have.

RE: Lance Sergent Willim Rowberry
Hi Julian
Thanks for your reply. We do have some information about William and we know that he had been awarded the Military Medal just before he was killed (London Gazetteer 11/11/16) but not much else. Any further information you could get for us from the newspaper article would be very much appreciated. The rest of the family are excited that we have a photo of him now.
My email address is if it is easier to send me the info through that route.
Look forward from hearing from you and many many thanks for finding and posting the picture and the offer of getting the other information.
Hope you are well and kind regards

William Rowberry
Hi Julian
William is my great great uncle and I was wondering where you got the photo of him from. We have no family record or photos of him and I am intrigued how you came across this. Many thanks. Paul

Thomas J Tansil
I am trying to confirm the middle name of Thomas J. Tansil ( 1871-1974) as it appears as Jefferson in several places and Jackson is several more. Find-A-Grave is obviously misspelled.

If you can shed any light on sources, that would be excellent.

My interest is in Nell Tansil Panzica.

RE: William Percy Rixon
My pleasure Julian.

Was he a relative of yours?

There is always a story behind every headstone at the CWGC cemeteries.

Julian, I have been doing my family tree the GALES and Cyril was my second cousin, I did wonder if he was maried and whether or not had any children, I have been unable find any records. Did you know the Gale family came from gloucestershire,Horton to begin with then they moved to Thornbury in the 1850s. Stephen Gale was Roberts father, some of the women at the begining did not marry. If you are having any problems with names and such like I will only be too happy to help. From Roger Gale.
