I have lots of info on James Rufus McDougal, he is my wife`s grandfather. For whom are you researching him?
|Sherry D Chilton||RE: G W Parsley|
Greetings shirttail kin ;-)
We have searched long and hard for the final resting place of G.W and Marinda/Miranda. Their oldest daughter Martha is my gggrandmother. It is either she, or an infant of hers that she had with second husband Thomas Allen Hopkins who is buried there with her parents. I believe it to be her, but cannot know without a better understanding of the grave locations and sizes. If you go and can find the stone of Martha Hopkins, I would be eternally grateful for it and any other photos. Blessings.

Your ancestor Paul Immel Sr. is the son of Johannes Immel & Elizabeth Feightner. Born in Westmoreland co. in 1802. He was the older brother of my ancestor Herny Immel.
He left Pa. and moved to Ohio. Reading Twp. Perry Co. His wife was Elizabeth Bauman. Married Oct. 3 1822 in Westmoreland Co. Pa.
He is buried in Ohio.Perry co. Reading Twp.Died in 1837.
I show 6 children in my file.
The German Cemetery in Greensburg, Pa. is no more. The caskets were all moved by family members if desired to various locations. My Ancestor Henry & wife were supposedly buried here. I have been unable to find out if they were moved elsewhere. They msy have not been moved as it was pricey. Area is now a shopping area and parking lot. This happened over 100 yrs ago.
I believe that another of Paul's desendents is an e-mail pal of mine living in Michigan.
Let me know if this info was helpful.
|John Parker||RE: OMA and CORA/John A Barnett|
It's Hester Oma, and thanks for the ID on Cora.
I have corrected my updates, and have requested the manager of Cora's memorial to link her with her parents. I really appreciate your help in trying to make these memorials as accurate as possible.
God bless, John
|John Parker||John A. Barnett|
I have added John and Lucinda's children as you requested with the exception of Oma, and Cora. I have no information on these two in my research records. Can Oma be Esther's middle name? Who is Cora?
|John Parker||Emma Barnett|
My Barnett records indicate that the Emma Barnett buried in Romance Cemetery, was the second wife of William Calvin Barnet, my wife's great great uncle. Thanks for the query, I have updated Emma's memorial accordingly.
