RE: Charles Martin
Thank you so much for your help! I'm researching based off the link you gave me. I really hope I find him. It would make my mother so happy! It's been 40+ years since we saw Kathy, and I never met David. I was born in 1965, and my Aunt Virginia had passed away in 1962.
It's worth a shot!

Thanks again!

Charles Martin
Hello Mr. Hallum;
My name is Sylvia Maisano. I live just outside of Detroit, Michigan. I am doing some research for my mother and her family.
Her Aunt Virginia (Virginia Martin B. Feb 26, 1915--D. Dec 21, 1962), had two children with Charles Shelah Martin. They are Kathleen Martin and David Martin. When my Aunt Virginia passed away, Charles and her were already divorced and he had come up to Michigan and took the children to Watertown, Tennessee.
My mother told me that my grandparents (Charles and Angeline Lebot) had gone down there, at one time to visit them and how wonderful it was. Kathy came up in 1976 (about), to visit my grandparents (I had actually met her then). She also told me that she knew Charles had remarried a women they called "Willie", short for Wilhelmina. Based on my research, it has lead me to you.
My mother lost contact with Kathy and David. She will be 70 this year. I'm determined to help her locate her cousins. I know Kathy was also in the Navy. My mother said that they were suppose to attend her wedding, many years ago, in Boston, MA, but were unable to attend.
I'm really hoping you can help us locate them. I'm sure, based on the research, that the "Find A Grave" is their father and step mother.
Any guidance or information would be wonderful. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Are you still on Ancestry and still have a Mcelyea Tree there?
I'm working on some McElyea and Wilkerson information and
would like to get in touch.

Nancy LaRUE FOWLER Mem # 47714853

I do not believe Bethia (Bethire) HARDIN LaRUE married after Isaac's passing. Therefore, it is unlikely she is Nancy LaRUE FOWLER's mother, and as Nancy was born 7 years following Isaac's (Memorial# 121021198) death, he wasn't her Dad.

My information shows she (Nancy Bethia Larue Fowler) is the granddaughter of Isaac and Bethia through their son Squire and daughter-in-law Elizabeth McCONNEL/L I don't know where this couples graves are, they are said to have died in the same area.

this msg was sent to me so iam passing it on to you

thank you
I appreciate all you have added to Findagrave. I have a comment regarding Reuben Golden, son of William and Polly Turner Golden. He was my 4th great-grandfather. Although his grave marker says he died in 1865, Reuben was living in Jackson County, Alabama for the 1870 federal census (with his wife, grand-daughter Martha Jane and her husband, Reuben Carter).

I am guessing that his grave marker may have added in years after his death, hence the close but in accurate information. Dana
