Bio and Links
Bio Photo I WILL BE HAPPY TO TRANSFER YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS TO YOU, if they are not part of our direct line. Thanks to everyone who has added information to my memorials. Find-a-Grave works because everyone shares and tries to provide accurate and complete information for each memorial. You're all very special people.

I specialize in "filling in the blanks". I like to research (even if they're not related to me) and find out who these people were, who their families were, where they lived, etc. In other words, I like to put "flesh" on the "bones" in the cemeteries.

The other reason I try to "fill in the blanks" is because of all the help you contributors gave me when I was just getting started in genealogy. THE FAMILY LINKS REALLY MATTER!

"...all these ancestors in your tree, generation upon generation, have come down to this moment in time--to give birth to you...You carry the hopes and dreams of all those who have gone before. Hopes and dreams for a better world" -Lawrence Overmire

Benjamin Davidson#68179372
Benjamin is brother of my 3X great grandfather William Davidson (Find A Grave memorial#26576046). I, my father, grandfather and grandfather were born in Morgan County, TN close to were William lived and is buried. I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution with Col. William Davidson as my patriot, I had to prove I was a his descendant. I have done the FamilyTree DNA and have matches with descendants of Gen. Davidson and Maj William Davidson which validates they were cousins of Col. William Davidson.
In the Battle of Kings Mountain Patriot Roster they name four Davidsons, Benjamin, Daniel, Samuel & William; I yet have identified Daniel.
Have you found any information on who is the father of Benjamin, Samuel and William?
Would be so kind to transfer Benjamin's ownership to me?

research of R. Gregory Taylor, Taylor Family historian.

Hi Generations

First thank you for posting all the information you have on find a grave to share with others.

I am interested in information about the Taylor family including the following: Find A Grave Memorial# 85089545

Is there a way to get a copy of the research by R Gregory Taylor. We have been doing DNA testing and we have our ancestors in the Mifflin County PA area but not connected to anyone yet.

I have a land deed that I am willing to share. It shows that the Robert Taylor of Erie PA was still alive in 1808 as their family land was sold in Mifflin at that time.
My email is susankromerhunt@outlook.com

Thank you so much

Question about Osteens
Hi Generations,
I was researching into some Osteen ancestors, and came across the memorial pages you created. I have a question about one of the Osteen families that lived in Transylvania County. If you could e-mail me at the address on my contributor page, I'd appreciate it!
Best,
Matthew

I am trying to help a friend with her research. Are there really two daughters born in 1858?

Thank you for all you do to help others in their projects.

That is such a wonderful picture of Mabel Thomas Thigpen and her husband, Jesse. Could you add the picture to Mabel's memorial as well? No, not related ... like you ... just filling in the blanks. They are related to me through DISTANT relatives by marriage etc ... and was working on others and trying to link up some other family. It would be wonderful if you posted the portrait of the two of them on both. What a great picture! Thanks ... and God bless you for all you do for so many!

According to marker shown on his memorial the date of death is 29 June 1949 rather than posted on memorial 6 July 1949. I tried to put the date on the edit page for you.
Thanks for all you do in remembrance of all those gone before. You are A+ in my book. I really appreciate your hard work and efforts. They mean a lot to me.

Tinsley and extended families
Thank you so very much for your work and dedication to the cause of Find A Grave. You are indeed a great friend to all of us who seek our extended families. Find A Grave is one of the greatest tools for genealogists today, because of caring people like you who like to tie up loose ends.
Thank you again for all your help. I wonder if you would mind if I copy your photos for my personal ancestry and family treemaker files. I am trying so hard to leave a trail for my family and descendants to follow. My time is running out and I seem to take two steps forward and four back.
Again I say thanks to you and all of Find A Grave workers who give of their time and efforts and resources to help others.
