Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm in the (long term!) process of putting together a family tree and finding every document I can. Of course, find-a-grave has been a big help. But many of my family members don't have memorials, so as I collect photos and information, I'm posting it here. I'm particularly interested in using the relationships feature to form a sort of family tree on find-a-grave. I only connect family members whose relationship I can document. So if you've stumbled upon a relative of yours that is plugged into my "tree" I should be able to offer you documentary evidence for the connection. And, hey! we're related! So send me a note and let me know who you are and how we're related. I'm trying to eventually track down and document every descendant of Thomas and Sarah Bradley of Kershaw Co, South Carolina (married around 1815, or perhaps a few years earlier). I also spend my day off most weeks stomping around in all the wonderful old family cemeteries here in Williamson Co, TN. It's amazing how few of the graves are registered here on, so I'm trying to remedy that. In not too many more years, most of these markers will not be legible. So my approach is to transcribe and photograph every marker that has writing in every family cemetery I visit. There are nearly 400 here in Williamson Co, so I suppose I've got plenty of grist for my hobby for a long time to come. I also try to take as many volunteer photos as come my direction. Isn't this site great?!

George Ray

Alma Lee Burleson Wyatt was my great grandmother and my dad, Carl (Skipper) Wyatt gave me many old photographs. There are many people I do not recognize, but I know I have pictures of Aunt Louise and George Ray that are not on the Bradley site.

When I return to Arizona I can look through the old albums and loose pictures and try to find them for your site if you would like.

I noticed that you wrote that you cannot read dates on the tomb stones. If you will carry a light colored chalk, you can "color" over the dates and a lot of times you will be able to make it out.
I hope you don't mind the info. You are doing a remarkable job which is MUCH appreciated.

RE: John Crouch
LOL, Matt, you know I would neeeeeeever do anything like that, right? So WHEN you find them, I count on you to let me know, too! Thanks for letting me know about the "new" photo, too. I'll trot on over to enjoy your handiwork again. If inspiration ever hits on the Crouch relatives, will let you know who, how, and where. --H

Dorcas Rodgers
Wanted to set the record straight from my last message. Dorcas is my 4th great Grand Aunt. Not sure why shows her to be my 5th great grandmother in my tree, but her sister Margaret Rodgers married my 4th great grandfather, Shadrack Mathis. Dorcas and Margaret were daughters of Revolutionary War patriot Shadrach Rodgers and his wife Celia Jordan. Some of the surnames associated with this family line in the Sumter/Kershaw SC area that I relate to are Rodgers, Mathis, DuBose, Kershaw, Corbett, and Barfield. I have a good amount of info on these families, so just let me know if I can help.
