Many thanks to everyone who sends additions and corrections to the memorials we manage and who have left flowers/tokens.|
Please do not post images of the death certificate to memorials. That information should be transcribed in the biography field as it is not searchable as a scanned image and it also takes up a picture slot that could be better used for actual images of headstones and or family photographs.

CORRECTIONS and EDITS
Please use the new edit system. It's faster, easier and subject to fewer mistakes. When submitting links to parents/spouses make sure the final disposition is known.
Please note--we do not link to burial unknown records. However, we will add information to the biography field if submitted to us.

|Mimosa||Charles B Church in Elmwood, Memphis|
As you know I've been busy in Elmwood the past few weeks.
Found three children of the Church family right beside Charles and his wife. I added the muddled stones to Mrs. Church's memorial. I can possibly make out Mary. One of the children's marker (Sheldon P. Church) can be easily read "son of C. B. & M. J."). Her name is probably Mary Jane. Look at the pic and see what you think. It blows up pretty large.
I also think that William P. and Caroline E. are their children--in the family plot next to Sheldon P. and buried with a similar marker. Easy to read the names.
Email me at my email on Find A Grave, message me through here, or call me.

I was curious abut the Crudup home in Kittrel, NC.
They're trying to save the home. Hope they do. Was wondering, are there any photo's of Josiah around? Nobody seems to be able to find one. Thank you. C. Miller email@: Lky616ebnc@gmail.com

This memorial is in the wrong cemetery. While the obituary in the newspaper did list Spring Hill Cemetery, she was actually buried in (or later moved to) Mount Olivet Cemetery, where her memorial is #130935814. She is buried beside her husband. Perhaps you could delete yours and add the obit info to the Mount Olivet memorial.
|J. Faulkner||Granville Booker|
You sent an edit to link Lizzie Allen Armstrong Booker (1889-1959) # 97304011 to 1st spouse Granville S Booker (1860-1902) #155139132. Mary Ann Booker Jensen (1894- 1964) # 97304011 has been linked as daughter of the above mentioned Lizzie. This cannot be correct because this Lizzie Allen Booker would be about 5 years old when Mary Ann was born. I believe it was a different Lizzie Allen married to Granville Booker. Do you have any additional information concerning the marriage of Granville Booker besides Mary Ann's death certificate?

It is fine for you to use this photo. Glad you enjoyed it. Linda Andrews

You're very welcome. Sometimes I think the system just blinks and saves memorials in strange ways. Thanks for the quick edit.
|Sylvia Harris||Susan Quenichet tombstone|
FYI. I tried to get a copy of her tombstone. The volunteer there has searched all of their(Elmwoods) records and do not show a record of Susan being buried there.

|Gene Meier||William Maury Hutton|
I am writing the first spreadsheet from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. AM ESPECIALLY INTERESTED IN JAMES SEABURE HUTTON, who was manager of the Palestine Exhibition Company (JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION) for William Wehmer (1847-1928) of Chicago who built his panorama studio in downtown Milwaukee. From 1885-88 Wehner produced 2 units of BATTLE OF ATLANTA, 2 units of BATTLE OF MISSIONARY RIDGE & LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN and 3 units of JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION. James S. Hutton mentioned in the F.W.Heine diaries 1879-1921 which I discovered September 18,2003 in display case of Milwaukee County Historical Society. James S. Hutton one of the founders of RIVERVIEW Amusement Park in Chicago. MUCH INFO TO SHARE. email@example.com
