Bio and Links
Bio Photo I find this website most useful and hope that entries I have made will be helpful to someone researching family.
If you happen to see an error, please be sure to inform me and I will be only too happy to make changes. Also, if you see a member of your family and wish for me to transfer them to you, I will do so, gladly. Anything I post is yours to use if you like.

This website has allowed me to make many new relationships, one of which is my "photographer" (WD) who makes lots of trips to his local cemeteries for me. I am most grateful.
WD, Janice Cathcart and I have teamed together to document as many Tattnall County cemeteries as possible. Kay Parrish Thompson has joined with us and transcribes obituaries, making our work more complete. Working with these three make this a relaxing and rewarding pastime.
Genealogy is not fatal, but it is a grave disease

No Guts, No Glory
In my opinion,
When I signed up to be a graver more than 10 years ago, I thought my fellow gravers were easy-going folks. It seemed like they were willing to go out of their way to be nice. I would get notes saying things like: the dates are wrong, here are the correct ones; they are in the wrong cemetery, please move them here; here are their folks, please link them...and so, it seems people are greedy, selfish, deliberately go out of their way to create a duplicate and then write you and say: "dearie, I have added so much more info to MY memorial than you have in yours, would you delete yours so I can keep mine?" Anyway, I know that I am just preaching to the choir, but it is very frustrating because we are ALL volunteers here, and we should play well with others. You never know who you are talking to...AND it doesn't cost anything to be nice...just sayin
Happy taphophiling

RE: Ruth Chapman
Thanks for the offer but I'm not really into managing memorials.

I can't change the spelling as it should always be entered exactly the way it is written. However, I made a notation on the bio that you said it is a mispelling. Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it.

Collins City Cemetery
Today I searched Collins City Cemetery to fill
your requests. I covered every grave three times.
I found William Dewey Lynn & Eudell Lynn. I did not
find Pauline Lynn or Pauline Cowart or Pauline
Jarriel. I did find other Lynn, Cowart & Jarriel
monuments which I photographed. Before I edit and compress these extras I thought I'd ask if you
wanted them.
