memorial #49287827
Thank you for creating memorials for my cousins John Lancaster and his father James. May I include a copy of their gravestone photograph in my tree at Ancestry? I will credit you as the photographer. Thanks, Susan.

Benjamin Nicholas Ragland

Benjamin was father of Thomas Jefferson Ragland. I have some info that says he was born in 1815 & died in 1869 in Buckingham County, VA. Yet I am unable to locate his grave. Any help that you may be able to provide would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information on my Great Grand-Father; and Ella Ragland, Great Grand-Mother. I am excited to be able to access their graves. Without your input this would not have been possible. Your time & effort are greatly appreciated.

Ancestors Grave
I know you have taken some grave pictures in Cumberland county Va and I am trying to find out where my 3rd great grandfather is buried he is a civil war veteran Melvin Anthony Martin he died in 1891 and may be buried near or in the same cemetery as my great grandmother Nellie Sue Dawson Thomas. I am currently in Georgia and cannot get out there to check. I do remember a civil war grave inside the tree line behind and to the right of her grave. It is also possible that it could have been her grandfathers grave George W Minor. if you could please check this out and let me know I would be grateful. I am only asking this because you took the pic of Nellie Sue Dawson Thomas's grave.

Fork of Willis Baptist Church Cemetery
Could you please change the location of the Fork of Willis Baptist Church Cemetery. It is located across the James River from Columbia, Virginia in Cumberland County. Fluvanna County is North of the River and Cumberland is South. Thank you so much.

Little Fork Cemetery, Cumberland, VA
Dearest Karen,
I have just found that my 4th generation great grandfather is supposedly buried at the Little Fork Cemetery in Cumberland, Virginia. This is the first news I've ever found in my six years of researching my family tree. His name is listed as Major Carter Page, but I was told he was Rev. Carter Tarrant Page. His daughter, my 3x great grandmother, Melissa Ann (Page) Davidson, was b.1804 in Barren County, Kentucky and came to Oregon in 1847 with her husband, Hezekiah Davidson. The name "Carter Tarrant" (and variations) appear in her family frequently, which leads me to believe that this is her father's full name. He apparently fought in the Revolutionary War as he is listed thru the DAR. He was also apparently married twice, 1st to Mary "Polly" (b. Cary) Page, then to Lucy Grimes/Grymes Page (b.Nelson), the latter being the mother of my 3rd times great grandmother. I noted that there are no listings in the Little Fork Cemetery for the letters "N", "O", "P" and "R". It leads me to hope that you possibly haven't had a chance to enter the persons whose names begin with those letters into the Find a Grave system. Any information you can help me with would be greatly appreciated. He was supposedly b.c1758 and d.Apr 9, 1825. He supposedly married Lucy (Nelson) Page in c1799, with Melissa Ann (Page) Davidson [whose nickname was Lucy] born 1804 in Barren, Kentucky. Thank you for taking the time to read my message and Thank you for all you are doing on Find A Grave.

Do you have any idea if Howard Lane and Nina Lane are related? Can't find an obit for either one.

Thank you.
