Sorry to have taken so long to answer you!!! I have been busy with my maternal French Canadian ancestors.
Yes! The stone cutter made a mistake...the surname should be ANDREW!!! My paternal great Uncle Robert, my Nana and my other great Uncle Tom chipped in to purchase the gravestone for their parents at least 50 years after Teresa's and Thomas's deaths. By then, these children (orphaned when the sister was just 12 yo and the boys were 9 and 10 yo) were elderly and the 2 brothers were from a part of Rhodes Island a distance from Fall River. The siblings decided to leave the surname as ANDREWS since they felt it would be too much for them to deal with demanding a new stone. You will notice that Theresa should have been spelled "Teresa."

I am the great great granddaughter of Hannah and William. I am researching my family history. I have only just found out they emigrated to America. I visit reguarly and hoping to visit the grave next week. Be lovely to hear from you.
