RE: Frank Kanode
I transferred him to you. I was only related to him by marriage.

Carla Mann Honaker
Kanode's
Hello! I have just begun researching my maternal grandmother's (Delilah "Lila" Mae Kanode Mann). Her father was James Hubert "Hub" Kanode and her grandfather was George Washington Kanode. Thank you so much for the information that you have provided on findagrave, especially for Sarah Elizabeth Knode. Interestingly enough, my grandmother must have remembered that name because my aunt is named Sarah Elizabeth.

If you have any other information to share, I would love to discuss! Feel free to email me at carla.honaker18@gmail.com.

Thank you,

Carla Mann Honaker

RE: Asa and Rebecca Harper, Williamson County, TN
I had not thought of that, but it's very possible, if not probable.

I cannot find any connection to a Peel/Peal apart from the newspaper article relating to the Housden murder in 1873. I'm wondering if perhaps the paper erroneously listed Susan as a "Peel" instead of a "Metz"?

Frank Kanode
Hi Joyce,
I accepted your edit request for Frank. He was married to one of my Walker ancestors. I have an online Walker Family tree with them in it.
If you are interested in viewing the tree, let me know and I will send you the link.
Thanks,
Bev

Luly E. Harper
I saw that record too. But my Dad remembered her name as Lula Ellen. Others said it was Lucy Ella. Luly was her nickname, and it was also the only one both sides of the issue agreed on. She was said to be the only child to have died after receiving her "proper" name. The others (5) apparently died before that time. My Dad was the eldest son of Luly's
youngest sister, Nettie.

Sherlocks Cousin
RE: Maria Harnish
Updated Maria's name per your edit. I went ahead and did the edit requests on husband Christian - his parents were also attached to the wrong Christian - what a mess someone did. Thanks for catching the wrong Christian.
