On March 21, 1965, I started my life in Fortuna, Humboldt, California at the Redwood Memorial Hospital. Are family lived in Eureka, California for the next 5 years, we moved to Sacramento, California for better work conditions. |
As the years went on I graduated from Deloro High School in Loomis, California in 1984.
In 1986 I moved to Reno, Nevada living on my own for the first time.
In 1988 I came back to the Sacramento area to work until 1994. I thought it was time for a change so I moved to Boise, Idaho for a year.
I again moved back to Roseville, California, where I am still living and working.
My joy of working on my Family Tree all these years has been one of my greatest fullfillments of my life.
Since the passing of my Uncle Bob Lindstrom, the overlooking of the family tree has become my responseability.

I added the pic for Phyllis per your request. I see that Cletus is buried next to her. If you add a memorial for him I will add the picture I have of his marker.
|Mike Simmons||Hello relative!|
Just wanted to say HI! I am related to you through the Gould/Martin/ Durkee/ Utley connections. Katie May Utley Day of Centerburg, Ohio was my Great Grandmother.
P.S. I was also born in 1965.

You wrote: "Relationship to me: husband of 1st cousin of wife of grand nephew of husband of grand aunt of wife of brother-in-law of niece of husband of aunt of husband of aunt. Never forgotten and always loved."
Please write the names of the people you are referencing above.
Otherwise, your relationship to my grandfather, Steve B. Kirtley, is completely unclear to me.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thanks for posting photos at the Evergreen Cemetery in Yreka. I am a collector of Siskiyou County obituaries (for research purposes and for families searching for their past), and just found one for Ella (Cleland) DeWitt, which I posted at Find A Grave Memorial# 105145361. I thought you might be interested.

You are welcome. It was an honor to help.

Not a problem. Glad I was able to find it. I put a new photo on for Helen as I thought the dates showed up better.

Most of the 1600 era stones in the Western Cemetery suffered vandalism. The graves that were left were moved to an unmarked area. There is no stone for Nathaniel. I do continue to search for him, but I have not been successful.

says added by you.
I think this is my relatives. Is there any more info about these two people at this grave site or any contact info I could research?
|Lorna Eidem||Vera cox|
i was so thrilled to see the picture of Vera cox.
Her mother was Clara weinzler, who was my grandmas
Sister. My grandmas name was Francis Loechler Borg.
I never met Vera, but I clearly remember Clara visiting
My grandma. She would come up from Waco I believe.
Very interesting. I now wish I had listened more closely
To their conversations!

|Larry Allen||Esther M.(Fagernas) Cummings|
I was born Fortuna and also moved to Sacramento because of father's asthma. Graduated from Elk Grove High school a long time ago. I have been developing a data base of early Humboldt County pioneers for some years.
I was confused by the 1910 and 1920 census data for Esther, being shown as a daughter of Johanna Fagernaus (married surname) I have concluded that she must have been adopted somehow. Your comments that she arrived in the US in 1905 interested me. Do you know of the real connection to the Fagernas family? The 1910 census shows that she immigrated in 1902. She would have been only a year old. Did she come with parents who later died?
Do you know anything of the Hjalmer/Hallmer Fagernas shown in the 1900 and 1910 census? I thought at first that he might be the same as Esther.
Don't we love genealogical research?
