Eliza Wood
Dear Doris,
I found you memorial for Eliza Wood entered at the Southlawn Cemetery in Seymore IA. Thank you so very much.
I suspect that Eliza is the daughter of my Great Grand Father and Mother, Simon Peter Wood and Mary Ann Marsh Wood, both from England. In 1909 their son Noah D. Wood lived in Seymour. According to the 1880 US census Eliza was born in England in 1871. Is it possible that the birth date and place in your memorial are not accurate? I appreciate that in 2016 when you generated this memorial there would have been no one of my family in Seymour to verify your data.
Thanks again for your work.

Re: Thomas Corwin Curl # 110604202
I'm sure I'm slow getting my thank you back to you, but I am very grateful for the addition of his grave marker photo. I am amazed at the little marker, it seems so strange. Usually the Curl families are rather formal in design & presentation.
And I am glad to know he is indeed here.
Thank you so much.

RE: Re; Gerald Barger at Valhalla
Hi Doris,

If you are willing to call the cemetery and verify a headstone and their exact burial location, meaning section, lot # and space #, I'm happy to go back and get a photo for you.
My concern is that the headstone may be buried and without the above information it won't be found. If you are not up for getting that information, would you consider removing your request so other volunteers don't waste their time?

Please let me know what you want to do.

Re; Gerald Barger at Valhalla
Hi Doris,

My friend (USC Girl) and I have searched the entirety of Valhalla Cemetery 4 times and have not found Gerald Barger. Would you please call the office and verify he has a headstone and the exact location of his burial? Without this information he may never be found. This is a very poorly maintained cemetery. I had to have a headstone for another requester dug out from under 3" of grass.

If he does not have a headstone, but you would like a picture of the area and gps coordinates I'm happy to do that for you.

Thank you Doris for this great photograph. The stone has held up amazingly well for being 140 years old! jjester

Good Morning, I don't believe I thanked you for the photo of Sarah's marker. I apologies but sometimes life gets in the way. I do appreciate your efforts in doing this. Thank you again and have a good day. Pat Meadows
