✿Jenkins, Ruby Marie Bash✿ 133214626
b. Mar. 23, 1920 d. Jul. 23, 2014
She loved flowers. She made her own from crepe paper & decorated Jenkins family and other family graves of people who had died before she was born, as well as those she had known, until she began to buy artificial or real ones. She was still interested in growing flowers at 94.
Please leave some of your flowers with her, and my dad, he loved flowers too.

|Ann Harris Humble||RE: James Oliver Pottorf #19987830|
Orlena - I have been chasing the Pottorfs through Ancestry.com. Minnie Kirk Pottorf lost her first husband James Oliver Pottorf 1906 in a mining accident; then married his brother Jake Pottorf. Apparently they became disappointed with each other and divorced. Minnie married a Louis Lafayette Threewit which was a big mistake. Louis killed Minnie and himself on July 3, 1926 according to a newspaper article. He is buried at the Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, Kansas. James and Jake Pottorf were my great-grandfather's 1st cousins. Ann

Thank you for the changes. James Oliver Pottorf also saw the census taker in 1900 on June 22, line 85,Sheet No. 16, in the same county. This entry lists him with his wife Minnie and young daughter and may be a better clue. J. Oliver Pottorf's father and maybe his mother were deaf so sometimes information was incorrectly stated on the censuses. Henry, younger brother of my direct ancestor, was born in Ohio, so the information on the census as to where Henry and his parents were born is incorrect. Thank you for sorting all this out. Ann
Perhaps you can help me. I know that Francis was the second wife of Lewis Runo Lee. Lee is the father of my G Grandmother who had a daughter that married my grandpa in Boulder, Colorado. When his first wife Julia passed Lewis then married Francis and was her 3 husband. He sold his farm in Fairfield County, Iowa and moved to McDonald County, Mo. He passed before Francis Ledbetter in McDonald Mo. Francis then married her 4th husband and is buried with him. Would you have any information as to the whereabouts of his final resting place?? Would you have any record in a family bible that was mentioned?? Did he use the money from the farm he sold and buy more property in Mo.?? Any help would be appreciated. His first wife is buried in the Perlee Cemetery in Fairfield Iowa with out a gravestone and has since been plowed under by a farmer using the land to raise his crops. Julia was a good Christian woman where as Lewis Runo drank quite abit. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I can be reached at email@example.com
