Bio and Links
Bio Photo My family lines are primarily Moss in Limestone Co AL, Foreman in Shelby Co IN, Cadle and Downey in Jackson Co and Craighead Co AR, Gentry in Carroll Co MO.
I spent the majority of my growing up years in Desha Co Arkansas and especially enjoy connecting the families who were my neighbors.
I rely more on documentation, than I do on what is on a tombstone. So many times, family makes mistakes on the dates, and also, mistakes are made while making the monument. Common sense should always take precedence over a piece of carved stone.

Mount Vernon Memorial park doesn't keep good records of the graves located there. But I assure you that picture of her grave was taken there. I photographed the entire park over the course of 2 years.

RE: Mary Gill Hodge
Yes, I remember you searching for her burial place and the memorial you made is linked to mine. I was just wanting the information updated and this site used to have a merge button for more than one memorial for the same person. I saw you updated her burial information and that you are in contact with the owner of the other memorial for Mary.

Very neat. Yes once mamaw fell and broke her hip we moved her the Sheridan closer to my parents. My momma stayed with her every day until she passed. But she was buried in Clarendon next to grandpa and her son.

Mary Ann Gill Hodge
Was buried at Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon AR in September of 2008. She raised (her Granddaughter) my mother Margaret she along with her husband Lewis were the only Grandparents I knew! She was a strong and wonderful woman!

RE: Grace Minchew Oden
What on earth are you doing sending messages at 4 in the morning? Were you up late partying at your computer? Ha!

Grace's branch of the family are very, very, VERY distant relatives of mine. We have to go back to the late 1700's to get to our common ancestor. FYI, there are several variant spellings of our family name in use today. Are you related to her?
