Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have served for about 30 years as Secretary and/or Treasurer for the Bahala Chapel Cemetery Association, Inc. - a private non-profit organization established in 1975. Donations are invested to fulfill the Association's purpose of providing funding and arrangements for the perpetual preservation and maintenance of the cemetery.

Bahala Chapel served as a Methodist Church until its closure in 1973. Donated to the Bahala Chapel Cemetery Association by William & Genevieve Conolly, the Chapel and cemetery are located near the banks of Bahala Creek in the Tryus community vicinity, approximately 4 miles west of the community of Oma. Oma is 10 miles south of Georgetown or 16 miles north of Monticello on Highway 27. For more information about the organization, the history of the Chapel and cemetery or how you can donate, contact me at the email address shown. Thanks!

The Knight's
Are you related to the Martin Knight family? My family is from Copiah County and we do not know of this particular line. I would be very interested in checking on this. Also there is a Knight line in Crystal Springs which we don't think we are related to. Thanks, Peggy Sue

RE: Chrystine Conn
Chrystine's Brumbelow family and my mother's Brumbelow family moved together several places in Texas before Chrystine's family ended up in Shreveport and my mother's family ended up in Tyler, Texas. I remember Chrystine from the Brumbelow Family reunions when I was growing up. She was always the designated Song Leader for our Sunday morning church services. I spoke to her occasionally by phone in her later years. I sent her a couple of items that had been her mother's that my mother had ended up with. She said she remembered them from her childhood. I was not at her funeral - live in Colorado and did not know she had passed away. Did talk to one of her nephews a while back and he told me. I remember your Uncle Jim from the reunions.
Take care,

RE: Chrystine Conn
Thanks Miriam for the links. Just curious - are you related to Chrystine Conn? She and my mother were first cousins.
Take care,

I was able to link all but the following:

#71517545 Mildred M. Conn Slade
#6606170 Ida Belle Conn Bird
#53843260 Bobby Jasper Conn

These appear to be owned by you so you should be able to add the links.

Let me know if there is anything else you'd like me to add.
