Bio and Links
Bio Photo We enjoy working as volunteers in the gold country of Northern California. Our families have ties to Ohio and Colorado. We are currently researching Mitchell, Elliott, Reichle, Hargrave,Laney, Martucci and Pizzuti family lines.

We have found extended family through Find A Grave and treasure them all.

We hope to help you find yours, too.

RE: Madge
I would be happy to have Madge's memorial. I knew Madge, her husband and the rest of the 11 siblings, along with her mother Nettie, my great-grandmother. It will be a challenge to find and connect them all, but I am up for it. Thank you for all your work and contributions to Aunt Madge's memorial.

RE: Marge Wold
Her name was Margaret Emily Calvin Wold. She used the name Madge. Both her parents are buried at Dutch Flat Cemetery. She had 8 sisters and three brothers. I have chosen to connect them on an individual basis. If anyone contacts you with questions about her, I would be glad to answer questions. Thank you. Christy Calvin Fitch

I have a concern re: Memorial # 84230651- the headstone pictured is of MADELINE M BLACK "PASSED AWAY" 24 SEP 1973. Madeline was married to my cousin and is buried @ Clear Creek Cemetery in Nevada Co., CA...
The bio information attached to this headstone lists DORIS MADELYN ROW BLACK DIED 3 OCT 1973- This does not match....
Just though I would share that with you... am not sure how to correct the information?
Thanks... Lois (Pingree) Ames

RE: Evan Sleeman
Hi Sharon,
Appears I had some email problems, but it should be working fine now. Let me know if you have it bounced back again. Thanks for all of your hard work! Kat

RE: Clear Creek Cemetery
Thank you for the additions and photos for Clear Creek Cemetery. Am on dial-up here, so uploading photos takes too much time. Am interested in Civil War Veterans who once called Nevada County home. Those found interred in Clear Creek Cemetery are:

If you might know of anyone with information on any of the above soldiers I'd be happy to hear about them.

If you ever take a notion to visit the Doris Foley Library for Historical Research in Nevada City, we might bump into one another. I'm normally there on Saturdays.

Thanks again!

RE: Loney-Sanford Cemetery
It looks like one was recently approved. We have a couple of volunteer administrators who approve cemetery and famous person photographs, and sometimes it takes a few days for them to get through all of the submissions. Thank you for your photos and contributions!
Take care,

Many thanks for your help. The added little photo of the baby's marker was great as I did not have that info in my genealogy.
