Thanks to the wonderful ladies that helped post photos from Rome and Florence National Cemeteries.

Have taken 7900+ photos at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. Am processing requests first but please be patient, it takes time. They need editing because they are white marble without any highlights for the names. I'll upload as I finish a batch of edits.
As always if you desire the raw photo email me.

To all the wonderful people who have commented on the Sicily-Rome photos please be assured I'll get back to you as soon as all the requests are posted. Some of you have been waiting for many a-day.

Reviewing ALL the messages sent am afraid I'll have to settle for a general message to you. The many stories told do my heart good. I understand how much these pictures mean to families. It is my honor and privilege to add my small efforts to support bringing closure to families and adding to the growing base of recording to military history.

Some photos will have very dark backgrounds. Because of the white on white of the crosses and bright sunny day it is the do requests but only way I can show names.

11 Dec 2016. I made an attempt today to clear some requests. I realized how slow I was so thought I'd try and clear as many as I can. I am finding, very unfortunately that some photos are not very good. the biggest problem is bright sun on white marble. Plot B is almost a complete washout.

RE: Edward Mortzfelt photo--thanks!
Hi Jack,
No need to send me any originals, thanks. What you supply on the pages are just fine.
I have for the last two years been adding photo requests so that all Maryland casualties have photos (You have probably noticed the pattern).
The requests are for those in the States and overseas. I find the markers in the Baltimore area, and put in requests for all others as I am allowed by the limits.
See:

Thanks again,

Hi Jack,

Over the past year you have filled my requests for over 30 Company A, 7th Infantry Regiment soldiers buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. I am very grateful and I was waiting for the last few to get posted before writing you a thank you note for all of them. When you posted Pvt Blizzard's photo, I just had to mention that he was KIA on his 19th birthday during a major German counter-attack. It was a bad day for Company A, but the thought of a family losing their son on his birthday must have compounded their sorrow. Thanks again for all you are doing to keep these soldiers' memories alive. Best regards, James Osborne
