Best to check ALTAMONT section, Frackville of OLD H.R. & OLD St. Joe's FIRST for BURIALS from THESE CHURCHES, then Englewood. There are other CEMS located in ENGLEWOOD section, these get most attention, as does Annunciation BVM.
2014: Info for Old & New St. Joseph Cems of Frackville-BOTH located in ENGLEWOOD, as is NEW H.R. Cemetery. Only OLD Holy Rosary located in Altamont.

anna and harry hc
my original day to visit HC was Thursday. I had my whole week laid out: Tues movies, Weds doctors, Thurs HC. Unfortunately I got a message on my dash "Service Rear Axle" and that became my priority. $700 to repair something that I can't explain. I can't believe I know someone who is 82 but I'm going to his party this afternoon. But Saturday will be the perfect day to visit your people.

RE: ANNA HEFNER HOLY CROSS
I have a great grandmother who should be buried in St. Paul's Church in Mount Vernon, NY Her second husband as well as his side are buried there Yet she is not there: I visited and met with the Park Service with no results. I've looked where she was born, where her parents are buried, where her first husband is buried I've looked on Family Search and had others look at Ancestry Her life was fairly narrow to that part of New York

RE: ANNA HEFNER HOLY CROSS
It's the size of 200 football fields. It's my favorite because I have 13 relatives there and it is easy to follow the layout. Their section and range markings are very clear. The maintenance people will stop their truck and yell "need any help?" as my wife and I look for a loved one. I have 63 people on my list starting at 40 and working my way to 61 to G then 17 to 13 across to 42 downward to 19. In case you like logistics. Very ambitious. Now that I write this, I can opposite and start at 19 and Anna would be third. Either way I'll find her and anyone nearby. Probably next week.

RE: ANNA HEFNER HOLY CROSS
If you go to the last photo (#8)on the HC website you'll discover a map which is a nice souvenir and you'll see where section 47 is and where Anna is buried.
