Bio and Links
Bio Photo As long as we remember our ancestors in our hearts, they are always with us.....

Even though they are in a different place, they are still a part of our lives, let us not forget the ones who have gone before us.

Surnames for my husband's line: Eltiste, Kaiser, Fink, Rohrs, Bohling, Torbeck,

Surmames for my line: Hoy, Hermenet, Boise, Shively, Kissinger, Loucks, Hoover and many more.

If anyone has any questions about memorials I have created, or wants to send me Additions/Correction/Deletions or woud like a transfer. PLEASE, Just send us a note using the "EDIT" Tab, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank You and
Happy Hunting!!!

I would love for you to visit my memorial dedicated to John "Doc" Hoy and leave a floral tribute. I found his very sad story in an Omaha Newspaper from April 1899. I have no idea what Hoy family he actually belongs to, but have adopted him to mine, nevertheless.

Thank You,

Mary Fink, Cedar Dale Cemetery
The 1900 Census for Mary Fink says that 6 children were born and 0 children survive.

In the 1885 Census she was living with Conrad Bauman, a widower, and his two sons, Edward and George.
She is Conrad's mother-in-law.

In the Cedar Dale Cemetery, there are two
women that were wives of C. Bauman, that were both said to be wives of Charles Jonas Bauman by
creators/editors of the individual grave records.

I believe that they were wives of Conrad Bauman,
Mary Fink's son-in-law.

Do you know the identities of any of Mary's children? Do you know where Mary lived in the 1860, 1870, and 1880 census records? I've been searching with very little information to go on,
since the birthdates are only estimates.
There are too many Mary Finks with similar birth dates, all over the country.

Thank you for your help

You are welcome! That little plot is fading away fast.

RE: Re: Elizabeth (Stump) Klein
This link will get you there (Google books)

Or you can just do a Google Search of the following phrase:

"by reason of Stump and Klein intermarriage and similar religious belief"

Turns out the Find A Grave listings were apparently based on this text. Still driving me crazy, because I can't make the narrative work for my George Klein but I'm not seeing an alternative. Ah, well, the joys of genealogy!

Hi Kathy.....Haven't been on FindAGrave for some time now. Weather has been bad and not conducive for cemetery hopping and thus I haven't looked here. I will see if I can get some answers to your questions and let you know.

Spring is right around the corner and Dale and I already have cemetery plans! We are going to a cemetery in Richardson County on Saturday, weather permitting.

Thank you for posting the information about Blanche.
We have been trying to verify the month and day of her birth and would be grateful if you can tell us where you found it.

RE: Re: Fietta Schwalm
No problem!

It's only because I was researching from the other direction that I even noticed. I had this Fietta because I have Schwalms in my tree but not Schlegels or Snyder. I do have the Bohner/Bahner family however and realized it just didn't quite match when I started saving it.

Thanks for the corrections

Thanks for that delete info. I didn't know that. Also, I know what you mean about going through the administrator. I am going through that now as I am trying to help a lady get a correction made on a memorial created by a volunteer who has disappeared and doing no edits. So, thanks again for the feedback.
