I live in northern New England but all my ancestors immigrated to, and stayed in, the New York City area. Since it is very expensive to travel to NYC I greatly appreciate the assistance with photos from members of Find-a-Grave.

RE: Maj. Samuel McConnell #7948743
No problem Veronica. I learned a long time ago that
patience & understanding is the name of the game. I'm not perfect so I guess all us humans are in the same boat. But we sure strive towards it. Just being willing & able to help total strangers with this kind of work has got to be rewarding in one way or the other. I appreciate you responding in such a positive way. There are few fuddy-duddies out there that are in the game of getting the most numbers & don't care to much about us out here at the other end. Their loss. You & your family have a safe & enjoyable weekend. Take care & god bless.

Maj. Samuel McConnell #7948743
Hi! Veronica,

Well Diane Loso has posted the right photo. Sam is definatly a Rev. War Soldier. According to what Rosemary sent you. You have to figure out how to remoove them Good luck with that. I'm just sorry I can't help you. I have never learned how to even post them much less understand how to remove them.
I'll pray that it all works out okay. Just don't get flustered with the whole affair. You can't imagine how greatful I am for all you volunteers out there. Please have a safe & enjoyable hunt out there in those old cemeteries. Take care & God bless.

According to the FAQ, you have to delete the photo on Major Samuel McConnell's grave because you are the one who added it. Roemary

Veronica, Accoding to another F.A.G. Volunbteer photographer the photo you posted on Samuel's memorial is not his but for a John K. McConnell.
Please double check & make a correction. This has been very confusing for me. Thank you for your time & assistance.

Lennox Graves
Hi, Veronica. I was at Holy Rood Cemetery today and fulfilled your request for Leo Lennox. I noticed there was no memorial for Catherine so I created one and added the photos there. If you'd like me to transfer that to you, please let me know.

Robert Scanlon was born April 16, 1917 and his plot is 2Z, 2473 if you would like to include that on the memorial.

Rev Winthrop Young
Veronica ~ I was tickled to find the photo of the grave marker for Winthrop. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to grant me permission to use this photo in my family genealogy. Many thanks ~ Jo

cleaning tombstones
I'm sorry, I wasn't asking you to clean it. I was just making an observation. The unfortunate thing is...I don't live in New Hampshire and I don't know any of the Clough family that may be living there that I could be related to. Please know that I do very much appreciate the pictures you post.
