|I am an oceanographer and retired from an oil company. For the past 30 years I have done genealogical research on my family lineages for the following surnames: James (KY, TX), Gauldin (MO, TX), Holt (VA, TX) Galbraith/Galbreath (TX), and Self (TX). The main places where I visit cemeteries are, Fannin, Lamar, Harris, Montgomery, and Palo Pinto Counties in TX, and Henry Co., KY.|
Please contact me for any corrections or additions; I will be happy to add Bios that are submitted to me for those I have added to the FindaGrave database.

Are you a contributor/researcher, or are you family? I would love to add her photo to my family tree. Edgar Gabriel Allen is my great grandfather.
Also, I was wanting to verify her death. Prior to find this Find A Grave memorial, I had her death recorded as January 8, but I see you have the 13th. When I examine the engraving on the marker, it looks like the 8th, and not the 13th. Do you have a death certificate for reference?

Above site has to be unlinked by person managing the site. I cannot do anything more until this person UNLINKs the memorial. I see nothing more that you sent that needs to be added to my site.
The person managing above site has 30 days to unlink to my site. If she does not unlink the site to my site, find a grave will do it. Patience, some people respond quickly to edits & other people take their sweet time. I suggest you send another correction email to person managing the above site telling her to process her edits.

Thanks for your note. The unlinking of the above site has to be done by the person managing the site. I put in a request for her to unlink the site. Butterfly Rose.

Bela, who was your grandfather? I am researching the James family.
Some members of the clan left Ohio, Butler and Muhlenberg Co, KY, in about 1865-1870 and settled in Bonham, Fannin, TX and surrounding area.
I am happy to share info. Diane Addington Matherly

There are no words I can think of to tell you how much I appreciate the transfer of my cousin. I can say simply, thank you and God bless you for doing so. You are actually a hero to me in many ways.

Have you seen this new feature?
"FindaGrave has added a new editing function to all members. Check the 'Edit' tab on your profile page for pending edit requests for your memorials."
You currently have one or more such edit requests on your profile page. Most edit requests are no longer sent from FindaGrave with an email notice to the memorial creator/current manager. You have to go to your profile page and check the Edit tab to see the requests for additions or changes to your memorials.
Please check your profile page so that the requested edits can be processed. FindaGrave has made this change to facilitate rapid handling of multiple edit requests.
Just helping to see that all gravers know of the new way to do things. It is not as easy - but does work.
