Hi Roger, I recently retired and decided to try a little genealogy research to try to learn more about my father's family. William F., was my father; his parents were Archie, Sr. & Ovie Daniels Lambert. I was lead to the Find-a-grave site following a link. Are you related to those I mentioned above?

Roger: I just read of your Mother's passing. My condolences on your loss. Your Mom was a wonderful woman. I did not connect the family line until I read your name in the obituary. Will keep you in my prayers

Nonnie Florence Moore
Roger, I have made the name correction and removed Richard Bryant Osteen as a spouse. As per the record she was not married.

Appreciate the excellent job you have done with the Moore Family.

Nonnie Florence Moore & her Aunt
You are so very right, these are two different women. My grandmother Nonie Florence was married to Richard Bryant Osteen. Her brother Charles Benjamin Moore was the father of Nonnie Florence who was single according to the Funeral Home records. The names were what confused me because on Ancestry Nonnie is listed as "Flossie Moore".

Flossie is my 1st cousin, 1x removed.

Thank you for straightening me out. If you would like I can return the management of her memorial. I am not sure what her relationship is to you.

My Great Aunt, Frances Dora Moore also married an Osteen, so I am doubly connected to the Moore line through my mother.

If you are responsible for all the work done on Find A Grave for the Moore family, you have done a beautiful job and I admire and appreciate the dedication. Thank you so much.

I do not know if you are managing this memorial, but if so and you would like to make it known that there are indeed descendants of Nonie and Richard Bryant, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for the listing.

Nonie Florence Moore Osteen was my grandmother. I have take then liberty of adding a photo of her at age 16.

Her headstone says not a mother, but she was a mother to 9 children, 2 which did not live.

My mother Henrietta Viola Osteen Bowen was her oldest child. She lived longer than her parents and all her siblings.

The Osteen family can be found on Find A Grave at Evergreen Cemetery, Jacksonville, Duval, Florida. At least most of them can.

Nonie:Memorial# 87238500, Viola:Memorial# 86665287
Richard:Memorial# 87238346
Lucille:Memorial# 77562306
Frances Dora Moore Osteen:Memorial# 53750328
Ethel Florence Osteen Rabb:Memorial# 53025351

I know my Aunt Iris is also buried at Evergreen, I just do not know where. She was a younger sister of my mother's and died when she was 8 or 9 yrs. old.

I do not know if you are managing

Remember me
RE: George Smith
Cemetery probably didn't exist on Find A Grave when memorial was created. Looks like Susan started it in 2015.
