After retiring as a teacher, I had the time to look into my ancestors. I found relatives at Findagrave.com which helped fill in the gaps in my search. Because someone else took the time to do those postings which helped me, I decided to help someone else. I have worked on postings for several local cemeteries and love taking the photos. I have tried to be very accurate but realize mistakes are a reality. I will be happy to do any corrections or make transfers when necessary.|
Please feel free to use with acknowledgement any photograph I have taken for your own personal family tree use.
Billingsley, Brummett, Odom, Murray, Cawthorn, Fontane are just a few of the names found in my family tree.

|Linda ||RE: James H Neely|
Hi Doris -- he's listed as Jas. H. Neely. #52513124.
One other note -- He is shown as being born in South Dakota, but a census shows South Carolina. Maybe one day, I will make my way to Parish records and see what they say, but his was a Southern Family and can't imagine that in 1815 he was born in SD.
Thank you for what you do. I just retired from teaching a year ago -- and when I get caught up with all the chores I haven't been doing. I'd like to do as you. I like cemeteries and history. So, I am in my element.

The record states DOD is 1925. It appears to me to be 1875. Which makes more sense because his wife is listed as Widow in the in 1880 census. Thank you.

Hi, I noticed you posted limited information on Elizabeth Hinton. Is she a relative of yours? The information is similar to my grandmother who was born and killed with the exact dates you have listed.
I would love to speak with you.

|Grave Situation||Damico Grave|
It is my understanding that the Damico family in Rapides & Winn Parishes was initiated by an Anthony D'Amico (aka Damico) who had a grocery store in Winnfield in the early 1900's. His descendants started the Damico chain of grocery and supermarkets now exiting throughout Louisiana. Is Anothony's grave in the Pineville Cemetery, or any other cemetery you are familiar with in the Rapides or Winn Parish area? Anthony would have been born in the mid-late 1800's (likely 1870's) and probably passed in the 1930-40 era. Thank you for your help.
