I have been researching family history for over 40 years. I do not believe anyone should be forgotten and to this end I have made it my project to photograph all 1700 + graves in the Saratoga Wyoming cemeteries and locate their obituaries in hope that it may assist others in finding their family. Thank you
I want to thank you for what you are doing! Even that old drunk prospector who was killed in a shoot out and lies in an unmarked grave has someone who was looking for him! He has a beautiful great great granddaughter who now has a story to tell thanks to you!

Request for a transfer
Judy

Would you consider a transfer of Find A Grave Memorial# 45695658 - for Burton Lee. He is my great grandfather.

Respectfully yours,

Jeff Record

Thank you.
I just wanted to thank you for documenting the grave site of my grandfather Harley L. Groninger. Several years ago when visiting Saratoga we spent over an hour on a very hot day looking for his grave to no avail. We will be back there this month and thanks to your work, we should be able to find his grave.

I cannot find it now but the last time I visited this website I recall it stating that he was not married and had no children. For the record, he was married to Margaret Stebbene and they had two daughters, Dorothy and my mother, Chloellen. He was a saloon keeper for many years in Saratoga and although I was only there once during his lifetime when I was 6 years old, I did recognize the saloon and the living quarters above the saloon when I was there about 20 years ago. The saloon was then an ice cream store and the living quarters was an Elks or Eagles Lodge. By the way, his nickmane was "Swift" due to the fact that he moved so slowly. It was said that he could shoot the head off of a sage hen at 50 yards.

Again, thank you for your work.
