Earliest ancestor on Father's side is Jeptha S. Horn believed to have been born in Macon County Tennessee in 1822. Believed to have died of "Mal Fever" also in Macon County Tennessee in August 1879, but no burial site found yet.

His wife is recorded as Charlotte York born in 1825. She was last found in the 1900 census in Macon County Tennessee with one of their sons Ira Horn. She is presumed to have died in Macon County Tennessee after that and before the 1910 census. No burial location for her has been found.

Also no parents or siblings for either Jeptha S Horn or Charlotte (York) Horn have been found.

Hi Glen,
Just wanted to thank you very much for the transfer and allowing me to work on his memorial.

Thank you!
Hello Glen Horn,

It occurred to me I hadn't thanked you for creating the memorial for my nephew Michael David Rowe. Heartfelt thanks,

would you be willing to transfer the memorial on Find A Grave to me. He was my great uncle. His sister was my grandmother. Any help would be appreciated and thank you for adding this information for all the family members.

John W. Brooks
You asked about my sources. Everything I could find indicated that John Brooks was the son of Thomas R. Rowland. The only source document that would be possible would be the 1860 census and I could not find it, but I found a family tree that validated what I already believed. The family tree is at:

Let me know if you believe I have incorrect information. Thanks.

Thank you so much for posting the memorial for Jennie Williams Beaudrie Tescareno. If you hadn't included Williams in her name, I never would have found the memorial. The last surname I had for her was Romero, this is the first time I've heard of her having Tescareno as a last name (now if I can just found out who Tescareno is!)

I am her great-great-granddaughter and trying to find much information on her has not been easy. For some reason my great-grandmother didn't talk much about her mother. Anyway, I have linked my great-grandmother and her brother to their Mother's (Jennie's) memorial. Thanks again!

It appears the surname should be Duval - as inscribed on the tombstone. (Not Duvall)

RE: Christopher C. Horn #102386272
Dear Mr. Horn, In response to your question about the death date for Christopher C. Horn, his correct death date is 10 Sept 29. The year posted on his photo was a typo. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Yours truly, Tinkalew
