Bio and Links
Bio Photo Due to snotty emails regarding edits I will no longer be approving edits as of 3 Mar 2017. All that means is that FAG will be the one approving the edits. If the information is incorrect that isn't my problem. I've caught some blatant errors and not allowed the changes, i.e. a child being married at the age of 6, but I'm not going to do research on someone who is not in my family.

If you would like me to remove any photos I posted please make the request through the EDIT link, Suggest any other correction or addition. I will only remove photos made this way as it guarantees me that I have the correct memorial.

If you find I created a memorial but there is no marker photo, it generally means I goofed. Please let me know if there is no marker photo as I generally only create memorials from photos I've taken and there is no memorial to add it to. However there is one cemetery exception that I created memorials for, Lopez Union Cemetery in Washington State, from a list supplied to me by the cemetery Sexton.

I am still taking photos however my health will not allow me to any longer pull weeds or trim ground markers that grass is growing over, sorry.

I post some photos that are taken at an angle on some of the harder to read markers. I take angle photos as they have a tendency to create a shadow so the engraving can be read better.

I do not add GPS locations as they are some times incorrect and I'm not going to double check them.

I also am not linking memorials that have been created for an individual who has a marker with their name and birth date on it without a death date. There are obvious exceptions (if someone was born in the 1800's or early 1900's) it probably means any remaining family, if there is any, did not have the marker updated. It is possible for a person to be still alive at the age of 100 or more More people are placing markers for themselves, just because a marker has been placed with a birth date/year it doesn't mean the person is deceased.

I will consider transferring memorials outside the Find A Grave guidelines as long as requests are made through the EDIT link and it appears your request is legitimate.

Nellie (Gibbs) Glover
Hi Judie -
Nellie is my husband's 2d cousin and she was Alfred Glover's second wife. (Alfred's first wife was Sara Winona Cook Glover who died in 1953 there in Zion, Missouri - but I have been unable to find that headstone at this time).

I can't seem to find the date of this marriage to Nellie anywhere else, and note it appears that it is on the headstone. Could I impose and ask if you could possibly let me know the date that is on this headstone in the heart?
I would really appreciate it.
Thanks so much.

Thank you for the photo & transfer!
Thank you, Judie, for raking the photo of my great grandfather's grave [73838159]. He passed away from tuberculosis when he was very young and my grandmother, his daughter, was a toddler. He only had two children and the second child died very young, so my grandmother was one of the few tgings he left behind. I don't know much information about him so it was wonderful to see a photo of his grave marker!

Now that you've transferred the memorial, I feel he is amongst family now.

Much gratitude!

Thank you!!
Judie,

I see that you added two beautiful photos of my Helen Moses Brotherton's monument stone to the memorial I posted. I didn't know how to do that when I made the original post, and I appreciate very much that you took the time to complete my mother's online memorial.

God bless you!

Thank you
I left MO over 15 years ago and lost all my photos so seeing your capture of my parents grave site was heartwarming.
I am wondering if the headstone in the burial plot with theirs is still there. It is a memorial for our deceased brother, their oldest son.
My parents Memorial # 132750545 if that helps.
Again, thank you for the work you do!

Sincerely,

Thank you
It has been 17 years since my mother passed. She passed when I was 5 the day after mother's day in 1999. I have not been back to my home state since then really. I started digging around to find more info and I find a photo of my mom's gravestone. I thank you so much for this. It's been so long that I had no idea what it looked like and I have been wishing I could just be able to go see her grave. You granted that.
