I will transfer a memorial within FAG guidelines but don't strictly adhere to the rules. I would rather a memorial be managed by a family member or friend.|
Please feel free to post pictures to any memorial I have created. I prefer that you NOT add their death certificate. Please don't add more photos of the marker unless you have one that is significantly better. If it is, let me know and I will delete the photo I have posted. If you have additional information, corrections, etc., please use the edit feature and I will be glad to make the changes.
Feel free to use any photos I have posted as long as it's for your personal use. If you want to use them for anything else please ask.

I would be very happy to care for William's wife Mary and son Claude. I forgot to ask when I sent you the message about William Doud.
|Karen Hines||re: William Doud|
If you would not mind, I would love to care for my great great uncle William Doud. He is the son of my great great great grandfather Nelson Doud. Wm is also a brother to my great great grandfather Lorenzo Doud.
|Karen Hines||Re Claude Doud|
I am Karen Hines and a family member of the Doud - Lash family. Claude was the son of Frank and Mary Lash. Frank was the son of Lucy Doud and Josiah Lash. Lucy was the daughter of Nelson and Mary Doud. I would love to care of Claude as I care for Frank, Lucy and Josiah. Please allow me.
I would also like to know when you found the grave did you find a grave for Claude's sister, Muriel Doud born 1890. The last I could find her was on the 1920 Ohio Census, single and working as a bookkeeper for a milk company. Was there any grave around with the first name Muriel or Murrill. I think she married but Ohio does not give that information out.

Scott, I want to thank you for not only this important transfer, but for your generous work and contributions to Find a Grave. These are without a price for family who are searching and researching! I'm putting together this family which is huge, with three wives, and I would need to recount the children. One of the children, my cousin Agnes, was the youngest surviving child of a Confeserate Soldier upon her death in 1985. Kitty is her Grandmother. My Mother is Living at age 95 and her double first cousin also at 99. They are both Byrds and valuable sources. The Byrds are just such a vast and complicated family and the Native American branch(es) make it even more intricate. Thank you. Kindest Regards, Nancy

My paternal grandmother....thank you for your kindness in entering her on this site. I have old photos of her if I'm allowed to post, I shall. All my life I was told my grandmother was Cherokee, and by looking at my father and his siblings, I can see it, however, how do I prove it? Thank you ahead of time for writing back and letting me know if I may post pictures of her.

Mr. Lee: I'm not sure if the messages I sent through the edit page would get to you or someone else. However, I did share some correction on http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=80647224
JM Baker was my maternal grandfather, had no first name. You list 3 of his 4 siblings. The 4th is Wiley Baker of Wyoming. Charles Leo Baker is a full sibling.
In birth order:

Aaron Freeman 1758-1821 & Judith Fleetwood-Freeman 1759-1844. They are my GGG Grandparents, on my father's, mother's side.
Thank you for leaving the 'flower' on my grandfather's memorial #127780753. It is always uplifting and comforting to find where someone has added a rememberance flower or symbol to a loved one's memorial.
