I am an attorney and court commissioner in Dodge County, Wisconsin. My lovely wife Julie and our kids Philip and Grace (and dog Howie) enjoy exploring cemeteries with me.|
Like most of my fellow gravers, I do this to preserve the history of those who came before us and the often beautiful works of art that mark their final resting places - and to make the information more accessible to those who might be searching for it.
My information comes from a variety of sources, including older cemetery transcriptions done by others. Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, transfer requests, questions, etc. I'll be happy to help if I can.

Thanks for the terrific headstone photos. More pieces to fit together.
You are appreciated.

Thank you so much for going out of your way to find and photograph Christian and Wilhelmina's memorial for me. I noticed under your photo you put a note that it was illegible except the last name. How was the last name spelled? I know the name was Americanized I just want to be certain I have it correctly and cannot read the memorial. Thank you again for braving the cold and snow to take the photo - it is very appreciated.

Thanks so much for the second trip out! I really appreciate all the effort to fill out my family tree!
You tried but couldn't find Hermund Svaeren and Bratha Svaeren's graves. Any idea what the problem was? Could they have been buried without a stone? Could the stone have been destroyed/become illegible? Or do you think they might not even be buried there?
