Maiden name is Sharon Rose Gallagher. Married Lee Roy Smith, 1963 and widowed in 1979. Lee was born Dec. 20, 1942 in Manchester, Clay Co KY. We had one son Todd Michael Smith and one daughter Staci Lee Smith (deceased). Re-married and had another daughter Kristin Loretta Shaffer.|
I am into genealogy, so I thought I would document some of my info and many photo's here. Here is a picture in my much younger days, a senior in High School. I am now 70, and you wouldn't want to see one of those pics!!!

Dear Sharon, This is my other message.
You are in Clay Co. KY where my Grandmother Sarah (Sally) Ann Chandler Holcomb 1852 was born. Her parents were Terrill & Alcy Chandler. She married my Grandfather James Wiley Holcomb 1849 (sometimes shown with an e, etc.)in Clay Co.
Their son Abner Holcomb 1874 died first in 1894. Their is an obit that says Abner lived in Woodbine, KY with his parents.
Sarah died next between 1894-1900.
James W. Holcomb died in 1906. He had remarried to Nancy Bailey Willis Holcomb. They were living at Three Links, Rockcastle, KY but have not found him there.
I think Sarah was buried where son Abner is and they brought James W. back there. I am already in your debt for finding my Gillenwaters GParents.

I have searched for 30 years to find where my Maternal Grandparents were buried. You gave me the answer Tuesday about 3am, 1/31/17. You can't imagine how grateful I am to you.
I had visited the Hawn Cemetery at Hinkle 80 years ago at 5 years old and still have a picture in my mind of the house and the iron fenced cemetery but only remembered driving out of Barbourville a ways and no idea where or how to get there.
I wonder if you would help me find my Paternal Grandparents and I will send it on a new message.
From one who waited too late to ask questions.
Thank you and GOD Bless you,

Sharon, you show John died 1855 and no way can that be correct as he is on the 1880 census with his wife, Lucretia (Criasy).
They are in my Mills Family and I was just going back over it when I came across this error.
Please let me know where you got his death date.

After reading what is written on Clara's page, I am confused. I don't know if Clara and Alex or Issac and Jane never married.
|Patricia Jones Lewis||Clara Jackson|
Thank you for posting the death certificate for Clara Jackson. I am doing some research for a friend. Clara is her grandmother.
|Penny Trent Norman||Thomas Jordan md Abigail Payne|
I am working on my Trent genealogy and my great great grandmother was b.1848 Sarah (Jordan) Teague. On her death certificate in Knox Co KY from 1921 it lists her father as Thos Jordan and mother Abbie Hinkle, both from Knox County KY. I read the information you left on Thomas Jordan's memorial that he was married to an Abigail Payne. Is this only a coincidence that she is an Abigail or was she married to a Hinkle and then Thomas Jordan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ma'am.
She is my grate grandmother please transfer more memorial to me dpbray..... Gallagher Smith

|Janet Grubb||Susan Grubb Valentine Carnes|
I noticed you have her two sons, Will Grubb and John H. Grubb's father unknown. How did you come by that information. Our understanding was that they were Tom Carnes sons. Thank you for your response.
Janet Grubb (William Grubb's daughter-in-law.)
I have Gallagher and McDaid ties to Inver, Donegal and Brooklyn. I would very much like to be in touch.
