Prayer for Genealogists

Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient road
On which my fathers trod
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.

James A. Case
Emily, do you know if James was married to a Myrtle Belle Smith in 1926, prior to his marriage to PLura Faye Gillum in 1945? A site had him married to this Myrtle Smith, but I cannot find that to be correct. It would seem that he may have been married prior, as he would have been 40 when he and Faye married. That's part A of this question, Part B: Not one site mentions whether or not James and either wife had any children. Would you know anything about that? Any help greatly appreciated.

Grave # 78518443

I have the obituary for Grave # 78518443, Georgetta P. Stamper. I tired to enter the information but couldn't. Georgetta was my aunt. Her husband Robert "Bob" Stamper is my mothers brother.
