This is a hobby for me. My normal mode of operation is to locate a cemetery, walk all of the rows taking pictures of each legible stone and marker, then return home and examine these photos and update Find A Grave as appropriate. Once I start on a cemetery, I usually work it through to completion; there have been very few exceptions.|
I am related to very, very few of the memorials that I create. If you are a family member and would like to manage the memorial yourself, just ask. Also, if you identify any errors or omissions in a memorial that I created, please use the Edit function to request a change.

|Breta Clark Smith||Emma Barnell Sullivan|
I left an edit to have Emma Barnell Sullivan changed to Emma Parnell Sullivan. I could not find a place to list her father, but his name was Elijah E. "Lidge" Parnell and her mother was Mary Ellen "Mamie" Roney. Also, Emma's first husband was John H Scoggins. I don't know if you have any way to connect them all, but thanks for your many contributions!

Thanks for accepting edits. Your work is very much appreciated. gail
I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do. My 88 year old father was able to find family members including an uncle who had died at a very young age. He had heard about this uncle for years growing up and remember he was buried at Hill City, Gordon, County. We were able to locate the grave through Find a Grave and it led us directly to it. Thanks again.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. My daughter took these pics 15 yrs ago and got them mixed up with others she took in Mobile on the same day.I had not ever realized it. Thank you. Bessie was my husbands grandmother so I just changed the name of the cemetery to the correct one.
|Phantom 309||Ira Dunagan|
I don't want to request a transfer. Lol. However, would you happen to be related to Mr. Dunagan? (Find A Grave Memorial# 116020124) I'm doing research on this family. Thanks!
|Peter Washburn||Alice Hinson McCants|
I would like to make a correction to your statement regarding Alice Hinson McCants who was my great grandmother. Her maiden name was actually Hinson. Her first husband and my great grandfather was Ausborn Henry McCants. She re-married possibly two times after his death. But, she was the daughter of James Hinson of Wilcox County and Mary Rivers from Clarke County.
