Bio Photo When a distant relative, Sarah Locklin Taylor (3rd Cousin, 1x removed) told me about FAG and I was able to trace my people based on her contributions, I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

I am concentrating on south Cobb County, Douglas Co and old Campbell Co in Ga. as well as Berry/Pearson and related families in Hancock Co Ga and the Barge family. And in Texas, the Campbell Family.

So there is no confusion, please suggest your corrections through the Edit tab on the memorial, not on my profile page.

I respectfully request that if you have changes or additions to a memorial that I created, biographical information or an obituary, please do not leave the information in the flower/token section of the memorial. Instead, please use the Edit tab and send the information to me to include.

If you send a correction or suggestion and I have no way to contact you for clarification, if needed (no email or messages disabled) chances are the edit will not be made by me.

I will transfer within FAG Guidelines and sometimes outside -- my discretion.

Please be aware that creating Burials Unknown or Non Cemetery burials just to add people is a no-no. Please review FAG Guidelines.

I edit obit/bio submissions to remove living people, esp minors.

You may use my headstone pictures as you see fit.

RE: David Horton
The death date came from an analysis of a newspaper article telling how he died from injuries of an convict escape attempt. I could try to send you a photo copy of the newspaper article but not sure how to do that in this venue?
He had been in prison for robbing the Southern Railroad. I am not the person who first put his name as buried in the White Oak Church Cemetery in an unmarked grave, but the newspaper article says he was buried there next to his father Henry Harrell Horton (who died in 1890). The following year his mother died and the same original source places her in the same cemetery. I don't know if there is a list somewhere of all who were buried there???? The birth date comes from the census record of 1870. The same source of birthdates for his parents.

Oh thank you. I sure would appreciate it. Dont make a special trip as I know its not always convenient. I would think her neice might have been responsible for her burial. Cassie Deal Brown was her name. Sue Knudsen

Im sorry. I wonder what the problem might be. There wasnt any detail. I know she actually died as an inmate at the Midgeville Asylum in 1921, Baldwin County, GA but knowing the rest of the family is in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery I thoought she would have been buried there by someone. Thank you, Sue K

Hi Pat,

I added the parents dates to the memorial. I have their complete dates but no burial location. When I checked my files I realized that his grandparents have memorials so I also add links to them.

Best regards,
